The next time that you get distracted, Jazee, don’t hesitate to come round here, as those scones sound delicious. I might have to get distracted to making some myself.Washing done and hanging outside, even though it is back to murky cloud. Ironing pile cleared. Mr M shop finalised. Thyme that I was drying has been rubbed from the twigs and put into a jar. Cuppa time to get some motivation to do something else. The car needs washing - hateful job.12

ASB maybe its all the emotional stress and worry that is wearing you out. Such a difficult one with your job, its easy to say just hand in your notice and do something else but life is not always that simple. Be kind to yourself my love x
Fayolle I hate washing the car too, mine needs hoovering as well.
I have pulled out a load of clothes and have piles all over the bedroom floor. I have far too many clothes and I have a lot of work stuff that is starting to look a bit past its best. I need to be ruthless and have a cull. Tea break first.
Washing out and its started raining. It can stay there. Have put a load of my work stuff in.
Round I love a bit of Abba, Super Trouper or Chiquitata are two of my favourites x

Mamma Mia for me probably, though I'm not particularly a fan...
Plums (47) were cooked last night and are now jam ... after I fished out 47 stones.
Carrots are now spicy carrot and coriander soup, a double batch so lots to freeze.
Mum has been (and taken jam - from the cupboard) and friend been and taken printers. Washing on line. House is a tip.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Round.. I am definitely a Dancing Queen type of girl.. I like the irony of Money, Money, Money... and Knowing Me, Knowing you.. I love most of them if I am honest.. I am definitely in the Abba fan club.
Theatre School visited with Squeak.. She said I talk too much.. and OH wouldn't let us (me!!) look in the costume cupboard.. he is so mean! He thinks I am extra.. I did manage to get words out of Squeak.. talk about the cats!! She is rather excited for Saturday morning.. Eep!! We are currently singing Cabbages and Kings and A Very Merry Unbirthday .. both are very us!
Best go find my 3 Ebeast sales and get them sent and hang out the washing which is sat outside.. and load the DW

Piggers just read about the little cardigans that I sent you for Squeak. It felt good to know your daughter used them too and got some benefit from them too. I'm so glad that they were put to good use.
Up and about at a reasonable time, got showered and dressed. Took delivery of the Tesco's order and put away. Have a selection of veg and fruit waiting on the side for me to cook to freeze or use in crumble/compote etc.
Trying out a new recipes for lunch and tea tonight. The lunch one was potato, mushroom hash with eggs and the tea one is baked sloppy joes with home made chips and salad. So I think today will be mostly in the kitchen, thank gods it's cool. Lol xxx

Spent a fair while on changing tariffs for our electric and gas as I had forgotten the prices were all going up...oops. We were going to leave it as we wouldn't be here to fulfil the 12 month contract but found ones with no exit fees. And then realised the electric will probably come to Wales with us as we would need electric, but not sure if it'll be gas from BG or a filled gas tank outside the property (very popular in that area of Wales.. lol)Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

I have been reading, puzzling, knitting and I sorted a kitchen drawer then popped to shop and run a couple of errands.Spend less now, work less later.11

2 cars washed, 1 vacuumed (for possibly the 2nd time in 4 years…). I thought it was safe to do so now that DD definitely won’t be going to the stables any more.Downstairs dusted and vacuumed, although I’m not sure why I bothered.
Half the tomato plants thrown out from the gh after harvesting my crop. 3 tomatoes. Cherry ones at that.2 loads of washing done and dried outside.10 -
Hi all
Looks nice Natty I have just made veggie jambalaya which will definitely go on the recipe list.
6 bags of clothes taken to the charity shop (not all mine). I have managed to part with quite a bit of stuff though including a grey blazer that was quite expensive but went bobbly really quickly, I was constantly trying to defuzz it so it has gone. Summer clothes piled on DS2s bed ready to pack away if I dont need them any more. Oh and I got around to sewing a button back on a top which is ready to wear again.
Old oven and a load of cardboard taken to the tip. Hoovered and tidied.
Have opened a bottle of wine that I won in a raffle last weekend, feeling quite chilled out.10 -
Thanks for all your good wishes. The search for a district nurse saga continued with 2nd GP receptionist telling me dn were separate and had their own phone number...why didn't 1st receptionist know that? Left message for dn who rang back - happy to visit but need a referral from hospital. Rang hospital. Nurse asked me to remove dressing and describe the healing incision to her over the phone.....it looked fine to me but no way did I want the responsibility of making a decision, and as for telling mum to leave it open to the air - somehow walking round in a a croptop and thong didn't appeal - so she did a referral. And this afternoon a nurse turned up, yippee. All is fine and she's left me another dressing to put on.
One load washing done.
One load through dw.
Watered tomatoes.
Dead headed garden flowers.
Added latest visitor flowers to existing arrangement.
Vacuumed downstairs.
Dusted lounge.
Lots of running up and down stairs to get things - sorry GI that's all the running I've done, although I had another swim, which involves a steep zigzag to and from the beach.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10
