Morning everyone, late check in from me but I have been busy.
Bed made, clothes picked up
WM on
Lunch made for OH
Individual salmon cheesecakes made for picnic tonight
Banking appointment and new account for DD1 sorted
Now need to pack for the weekend. OH is WFH on Monday so we get another day at the other house by the sea, and friends talking about coming to join us.8 -
Morning xx
I expected to be shaken from my bed early by the roofers returning next door - but all is peaceful at the moment.
My bed is made and I'm supping my second brew, having eaten my toast. I'm also having ideas of what to put where. 🤔
I forgot to say: DB said that he noticed a big difference in the amount of space in the living room compared to last year's visit. Actually I think it was DSil who visited last birthday so he was thinking about the year before...but progress is progress yeah?
Round 1
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the recycling
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Big hugs to all

Good morning
I spent a few hours in the WAC last night. Crazy cat slipped out through Grumpy dog's legs as I let the dog in last night. I usually feed the cat just before I go to bed - to ensure that he doesn't go awol! I had just fed him when Grumpy dog appeared, wanting to go out! So I set the cat flap to 'in only' and went to bed. He turned up at 1am, and then I was awake until 3-3:30am. I developed an earworm - "What's your favourite dinosaur" - a catchy tune, but so annoying!! The 3 yr old has asked for the dinosaur songs already this morning, and I have declined!!
Last night I managed to complete 2 frogs - 2 transition reports for the siblings that left 2 weeks ago! Better late than never! I am now in the process of making a photobook for them of their time with me. I have told mum this (she popped in to collect the 2 coats that were left here), so I will have to do it now
Just having my 2nd cuppa. Dog has been walked, WM x1 finished that I will hang out in a mo. I think after lunch we will do some painting, or maybe play dough or sand
Round that is definitely progressWell done!
Hugs to those that need them. Have a good day everyone!9 -

Glad we were not relying on the spud harvest from the garden, the grand total was 3 spuds the size of ping pong balls, and 3 the size of a small marbleMore stuff cut back and weeded in the garden, split the chives and replanted, planted some of the bulbs I dug up, just have to plant the bulbs I bought.Daily / general stuff done in the house, was informed by OH his son is coming to visit tonight / overnight, you know what I just cannot be bothered by it, or run round to find extra food ect, said son will have to take us as he find us.Hugs all roundBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi all
Have taken decisive action today on two things at work that have been worrying me. Neither are completely sorted but it feels good to make progress, no matter how small.
DH is stomping about, he has just got in and needs to make his tea. I will organise his meal if I have some idea of what he wants but when I tried to mealplan on Sunday I couldnt get an answer from him. I wont eat the same food as him because its too unhealthy. Also, we both work full time and DH was in bed when I left for the office this morning so why should I do all the cooking? Rant over.
Not much flying done other than the basics, will have a bit of a catch up tomorrow. Looks like DS is with us for a few more days because they dont want him back in the staff house yet.
Feet up time.
Thanks for the reminder about the electric Pigpen x12 -
The dogs are away for the weekend and I have no plans. I am pondering whether to fly, garden or have a do nothing Saturday.Spend less now, work less later.11

Evening ladies
I don’t know where the last few days have gone - in a weary jumble is the best description. I haven’t felt quite right at all, both physically and mentally, the latter I am used to but I’ve just been so worn out as well. Did the C test, negative as expected but I’m just so dog tired.
I have been signed off work for a bit longer which gives me some real time to think about what I’m going to do going forwards.
I’ve had the fire lit this evening, the laundry is drying in front of it. Another pile loaded up to set going in the morning, bin soaking in bleach and hot water, kitchen tidied. We have hardly any food in the house at all (other than eggs!) so I really must find the energy to walk to the Co op tomorrow.
I’ve missed lots of news, not all has stuck, but I’ll send love to Piggers for having to deal with such a sad situation, love to Narcos mummy, belated happy birthday to Round, and strength vibes to YL for your DS, and a kick up the bum for your DH! Hugs to you all, and the coping vibes and spoons I can spare xxx

Well we made it home before the road closure.. PHEW!!
