I've either ended the month under budget with a total spend of £112.28/£120 or I've made a mistake when reading my notes is my conclusion after much squinting and jabbing away at my calculator as well as counting on my fingers.  :#

In truth, I seem to have rather lost track of things over the last few days but am quite sure I haven't been food shopping so I'll pop on over to October and try to keep better notes this month, see you all there.

  • @K9sandFelines - have you changed employer?  When I did - and got swapped to weekly pay - the way I coped was to pretend to pay myself monthly.  I put each week’s pay into a savings account and, on the last day of the month, transferred it back to my regular bank account.     (If you haven’t changed job, it’s very unusual for a company to go from monthly salaries to fortnightly.  I’d be worrying about their cash flow.)

Hiya @PipneyJane,  yes I've changed employer. I've been paid off previous employer, plus holidays and current wage, so by the time I get to October, I will receive just two wages in one month, so I should then be in the swing of things. I shouldn't think it'll differ much from monthly, hopefully.
    Thank you.
