Well done , your account allowed CM to rewrite it to assist you
But it's not over with , no Court is involved , yet
Check your inbox folder and spam folder for an email auto receipt from the CCBC showing they received it
Also Email a copy of your defence pdf to the claimant ( or to their solicitors if they are using one instead ) , as a backup , safety first
Login to MCOL this week , look at your claim history and check that the CCBC have logged your Defence ( they send it to the claimant too ) , it may take a few days
Once that is done , check weekly on MCOL to see when they have posted the N180 to you , then follow steps 6 to 9 in the defence template post by coupon mad
Eventually your local nominated court will send you a Court order in the post , that is when a local civil court is actually dealing with it , not before
So do not leave the pitch partway through the match , you have plenty more work to do
Post back on this thread keeping us informed , so we can assist where necessary
Disappear and you will lose. !!3 -
It’s not a matter of waiting for very long. The template defence and KeithP’s reply and instructions on your thread tell you what will happen next.
And how to complete the DQ Is shown in the NEWBIES thread in a link or two under the red heading ‘IMPORTANT - KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN’.
Also make sure you got an acknowledgement email from the CCBC?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Cheers Redx, and massive thanks for helping writing the defence Coupon-mad..Just when I though it was finally over haha.. Im still up for the task now my defence is done but alarm bells are ringing already as I haven't had an acknowledgement email from the CCBC email sent this morning, nothing in my inbox or spam folder. I can't see it being because I sent it from my gmail account but just in case ill send it from my works email also later, will also be sending to there solicitors this evening.
The main plan this evening is reading through all the links you have mentioned also.
Many thanks, Paul2 -
Been on MCOL and can see defence has been received, yippee!! I can't tell you how much of a relief.THANK YOU EVERYONE, GREAT WORK!2

Hi all, sorry but its me again, only the one question so hopefully easily answered.
Ive had a letter from their solicitors asking for proof of my potential vulnerability. Should I send doctors note or not?
If yes to answer above, there's one issue, they have said they want it within 14 days, now that's impossible as ive called the doctors and the earliest I can get a call is 2 wks, then im going to have to probably wait a week at least for the letter to arrive, that's if they jump on it straight away. Getting it shouldn't be a problem though.
SO should I just reply saying 'more than happy to send you proof but its going to take more than the 14 days you have asked', and then just sent it over once it arrives my end.
Cheers everyone.1 -

If it were me or a friend or relative of mine, I would send the proof of vulnerability.
I suggest you reply to the solicitors exactly as you have said above. You are awaiting for an appointment with a doctor and will not be able to provide the proof they have requested until after this time. However as a vulnerable adult with mental health issues, you have protected characteristics in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, and therefore require more time to provide the proof they have requested.
You will contact them once you have the necessary proof.
Look up the relevant parts of the EA 2010 when you get the chance.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

The doctor may charge for this. If you win in court be sure to clain in back You could always threaten a counter claim for disability discrimination. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.4
