First work shift done. Before work, I washed up and sorted banking. First wash load is on line, second in machine. I'm about to walk the dogs, then I'll water the garden and DH had informed me that the washing machine drawer needs a clean. Blooming cheek.Spend less now, work less later.11

Ma'am ... incompetents then? Honestly it shouldn't be that hard for people who are paid to do the job on a daily basis. I had an 'electrician' sent out to fit my new cooker who apparently was not qualified to fit cookers!! Idiots! So pleased it is sorted.
Spent the day trying to move.. I hurt .. everywhere!!
We visited the outlaws yesterday.. I did gardening.. I hate gardening.. dirty, muddy, back breaking stuff.. so now I am broken. OH watered the world with Twinkles help.
Today I have spent looking at things which social care should be providing and benefits she may be entitled to, we can but ask.. and nag.. and demand.. The nurse was nice enough yesterday and commented it was the first time she had seen MIL smile!

More grass cut, still not finished but end is in sight, but my back is telling me I've done enough for today
Washing, folding, ironing ad infinitum
Curry assembled for dinner either tonight or tomorrow, depending on what they fancy
Tomorrows task is to find a gift box type thing for a break for niece's wedding. We're not going which is a huge shame but having looked at ferry or tunnel prices plus tests etc it was too much expense and too much hassle.
Cat sitting on the bills I need to pay, so they can wait until tomorrow too.
I'm putting the kettle on, if anyone fancies a cuppa, sorry no biscuits.11 -
The washing machine drawer is now clean. Second work shift done. Another walk with the dogs but short because they weren't really interested. From today's list I have sorted a box of stationery in the office.Spend less now, work less later.11

I have had a day off and been out with my two friends to a town I've never visited before, a bit further south but still in my county. We have had a lovely day, looking at shops and shopping. Two of us clubbed together for a birthday gift for the other, which she admired and chose. So that's sorted. Not her birthday yet, though, it will be wrapped and saved until next month.I also have a 'new' top.
Came home and has a natter with sis about concerns re mum, who gets far more anxious about things than she ever did (and she was a strong independent woman with a very senior management role) and also gets melodramatic...usually with tech.
We are going to try to get her in at the GP.
Washing on th eline which I need to get in.

I hoovered all through the house this morning before going to the GP surgery for an injection in my shoulder, which should stop some of the pain for a couple of months. I asked the Dr if I would get a sticker, and he said "Only this one" as he applied a miniscule plaster!
DS2 & Co have been to tea and scoffed toad-in-the-hole with lots of veg and gravy, followed by blackberry and apple crumble with ice cream (I picked the blackberries in the lane yesterday).
Rosie is still fine, although I am convinced that she swallowed a splintered piece of bone 48 hours ago. Anyway, it didn't stop her begging for sausage (and getting some from DS2).
I must wrap up DD's birthday present, ready to post tomorrow.

Can I just apologist for missing yesterday. I really thought I had done it but obviously didn't. I wasn't feeling at all well yesterday and went to bed early to see if I could sleep it off.
Hope you all managed to find something to fill yesterday
