Hope the meeting isn't too bad Yorkie xxx
Sounds like you're getting through your list this week GI. I will try to do the same.
Indoor animals fed, having a quick cuppa, then booting DH out to work early as he has a Trade Day to oversee. No builders today, so dogs can rampage in the garden while I get on with stuff.

Morning all
Kaz - please keep us posted, I am crossing everything for you that it's nothing sinister xx
YL - soon be bedtime again love xx
Narco - I am sorry to hear about your mum. Sending lots of strength vibes your way xx
A huge hug to everyone who wants one. I got absolutely loads of flying done yesterday morning, then I treated the children to a session at the local soft play centre and lunch out. They had great fun, and it was a real treat. They go back to school next week and we have no plans at all between now and then - lots of walks and picnics I think.
The WM is doing it's thing, I have unloaded the DW, chickens and children have been fed. We need to walk to the village for bread and crisps, deposit a bag at the CS, and I need to email school about PE tops.
Take care all xx10 -
Happy Birthday to dancemum's DS2 xx
Hope your mum is improving, Narc0 xx
Hope your cat is OK, Kaz xx
Rosie is under constant observation atm, as yesterday evening, on our walk, she found some chicken leftovers near the bin on the green and crunched a fairly large bone. I managed to get a lot out of her mouth, but I know she swallowed at least one piece. I suspect that she has eaten a lot of bones in her former life as a street dog, but nonetheless I have cancelled my lunch date with a friend. If she suddenly needs to be taken to the vet, there is no way DH can pick her up and put her in the car.
I also have to go and feed DGDs' guinea pigs this morning.
I am working my way slowly through my own list. One item has been on it since 1st August - it must be priority today (after the animals and sorting out DH, of course!)
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to everyone, as needed xx10 -
Morning everyone and big hugs to all those who need or want.
Just back from doctors for check up and repeat prescriptions, all ok.
DD2 phoned this morning to say her new DW leaked all over the floor, sorry but I can't help her mop it up from 700 km away!
Did make some progress in the kitchen yesterday, not earthshattering but progress and DD1 said it looked better when she got home. So following Natty's plan and going to do something in the living room & study area. And of course potter along with the huge pile of laundry, we we're away on the boat for 4 weeks, DD1 went to other house with friends for a week or so hence I have so much laundry. I don't iron bedding or towels and generally iron and fold as I go so hopefully won't create an ironing mountain.
Off to pick up anything in lounge that should be in kitchen and take it with me, put kettle on and tidy kitchen whlst it boils.

Ma'am.. it could be something really simple like they've not pushed the waste pipe in far enough or forgotten to put a washer in the fill pipe.. I hope they get it sorted.
Away to the outlaws today.. Meem has asked if she can stay here a few weeks.. this is going to be fun!

Updating, so I can see I've actually made progress...
Fed chickens in the caravan, large chicken house and paddock coops. Also fed goats and sheep, then collected eggs, sorted and boiled some to make scotch eggs later. Orchard coops can wait until after lunch.
Two parcels collected by Hermes and one delivered. Got another delivery due within the hour, so I'm now flying indoors...will start in the dining room, as that's not too bad and I'll be able to keep an ear out for the doorbell.
Second WM & TD loads in and all WUDAPA
Downstairs loo cleaned and wetroom towels tidied and hung up on heated rail. Digger just being collected, so one thing extra off the list!
Hope news is good for your cat Kaz x
