I printed my documents with the sign empty, signed with biro then used "cam scanner" app.
I found cam scanner to be a life saver with my old Windows 7 laptop lol
You can also use Google docs, and insert a signature into the document that way without printing.

The maximum cap on legal fees in the small claims court is £50 in the event of a loss. The only time a higher amount comes into play is if the defendant acts unreasonably - not responding to court requirements by the deadlines directed, failing to submit documents needed for the process, not being a*sed to turn up (physically or by video link/telephone call) for the court hearing.

Unless you can tell us that at least one of the above applies, the solicitors and their legal advocate can go swivel.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Could be a few days. Could be a few months.

    How about asking the court?

    Exactly what it says.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

I'll do that in the morning.

It won't be 'a few days'.

Given the backlog of cases that all Courts are struggling with, I'd expect it to be at least a couple of months, or even longer.
