Have you tried companies like zooplus for cat litter. I found them pretty good for the dog stuff but no idea on there cat products. Might be worth a look.Glad to hear your HRT has arrived.3

Day 3 - here I am again. Very little to report - full teaching day today so am utterly exhausted.
Work still rubbish - no supply teachers anywhere. Too much to do and too little time to do it in. Even the lovely school I work in is getting a bit too stressful for my liking. But I feel like all jobs are like that at the moment - dd isn't enjoying her pt job in the bakery any more. My sister got a promotion at her place then realised she was about 5 members of staff too short to get the job done so she's now working more hours than is healthy for any human being.
The kids are wild at school. Not sure why but I have spent the day dealing with huffy, nasty teenage girls and I don't really like it.
We are on a 2 week timetable and week 2 is really awful for me. I actually hate it so much. I feel like a nasty, huffy teenage girl myself at the moment - the little brat voice in my brain is screaming how unfair life is at the moment.
Same old whingey old me.Not giving up

My son does my head in on his machine too. So loud! He gets two warnings and them I take the keyboard off him. Annoying thing is he actually needs to play games as part of his btec 🙄
He has to stop at 10pm and bring his keyboard upstairs ad he can't be trusted. We have caught him gaming at 3am before now. It's so frustrating.
Good luck with the litter, I have ordered things through zoop1us before, they have a good reputation.

For our gaming teenagers we bought them all wireless noise cancelling gaming headsets. Not that expensive (depending on brand) and SO worth it. It was a rule that they had to wear them when playing FPS’s (first person shooting games) as the noise was so loud. Worth the investment and they appreciated the privacy the headphones gave them I think, as well as letting them talk to their online friends when playing'In the widening gap between credits and debits hangs a question: What parts of this life are you willing to give up, so you can keep on living?'

He knows the drill now, and normally tones it down after a warning. It is frustrating though.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉6 -

This... I don't hear anything of the game at all. I just hear him shouting and screaming and throwing things. It's so annoying, and it really upsets the neighbours as well as me.
So. Had a minor disaster last week, when water started pouring into the house through one of my windows in the living room. It was really raining outside. Looked to me as though the sealant had failed so I dried it out and did a little DIY job on it, then found a nice window repair man on Fakebook to come and look at it for me. He turned up at the house, took one look at it and said 'that's not a problem with the window - there will be something wrong on the roof. I see this a lot.' Lovely bloke, wouldn't take a penny from me (but did tell me ds needed a new hinge on his window which will cost £70 when it arrives). So I then had to find another person to come and look at the roof for me as well. That was an effort in itself but I found someone who told me that there was a problem with the flashing (some of it was missing). He's been today and replaced it and also said he found and fixed a loose tile. It's cost me £180. No idea if that's good going or not but I hope it will sort the problem out - wherever the water had been going it's not into my loft. I went up and looked and there was nothing to see, no wet, no water, nothing running down the walls, and the insulation is dry. Weird. Really hope it's sorted out now - I'm very grateful to be a homeowner but repairs and maintenance are SO expensive. So the past week has passed in a bit of a blur of being busy.
Lots of other stuff still going on. Genuinely cannot believe that I have 4 more weeks to do at work. DD finishes at the end of next week and then just has her mocks before Christmas, and even ds finishes the week before I do. I'm in right until 23rd of December (but will look forward to the extra time off I have after Christmas). Christmas shopping is complete apart from dd's boyfriend and my nephew - I'm pleased I've managed to be a bit better organised this year than I was last year. I've been buying stuff since August so for once I was actually sorted and well planned and ready to go. Why are teenage boys so difficult to buy for? Even ds is hard work when it comes to present buying.
Other than that though, I am listening to my body more, making time to relax and sleep and I'm feeling much better for doing it. Not sure if it's that, the HRT kicking in or anything else but I am trying to make the most of it because goodness knows how long it will last.

By the time he was 14 I was giving my DS IOUs. He now gets an Amazon gift card which didn't exist when he was a teenager. I think all teenagers & now grown up DSs are very hard to buy for & I'd rather do that (along with a surprise) than throw my money away.
