I had hoped for 'dont buy the cap, you have a house to buy'  chorus but no ;)@beanielou @skint_spice
i mentioned it to my mum last night and she said this morning she is thinking I should get it
I am not home til next week so may pop in then ...

@KajiKita ah interesting on your CORN*** seaweed experience - my hair you can see in Pics over 2 months on the summer trip really broke off as I used it
I will keep trying the shampoo only 2 x week (as didnt really use it) and mix it in with my Klorane shampoo one but the Cornish serum and conditioner no more...

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Ditch the shampoo but do complain to the manufactories you might get a goodwill gesture. Also buy the cap it was meant to be and you have worked really hard this Summer.

  • You could use up the shampoo as body wash or hand wash, the chemistry is the same.  If it dehydrates your skin, use it to clean the kitchen floor!

Having worn a wig through chemo, I wouldn’t advise you bother because it’s hard to fix them securely when your have hair underneath.  I ditched mine once my new hair was about an inch all over and rocked the ‘urchin’ until it grew down to classic bob again,  Also, if your hair is fine, a real hair wig has far too much hair!  It sounds contrary but my hair is fine and I definitely looked wiggy trying on real hair and more natural with synthetic.

The cap sounds fab - so another vote from me and you can continue wearing it in the new house….bargain!

  • I also vote for buying it and ditching the shampoo! Sounds like an investment piece to me 😇

Ok all Cornish seaweed hair stuff is officially stopped - I am hearing you all !
the cap will be bought - I will get it as soon as I arrive in london as shop is near the station / so Tuesday - got birthday money for it !

Issue with the wig is I love the ones where it is clearly a wig :) However the idea is to have one that looks natural for popping out so I don’t blow dry my hair etc and get it cut hard

Am enjoying being able to do my mb and casino now I am back here - and making some nice money - had a 2 month gap - so having to remember some of the strategies - casino free spins, football and horses
looking at my YNAB I have been averaging over £666 per month I make on it / all of which has helped with SIPP and living - love tax free income :)

lovely to see parents and will see sister and kids later for a couple days - I am aiming to see parents more ideally every 6 weeks - I am aware they are getting older- still in good health - but I read on Reddit if you only see them say 3 times a year you may  have only 30 more visits with them - puts life and my time  into context .
They always have a long list of things for me to do - tech stuff etc - at least I am
a few hours away by train /car not across the world as I used to be
I am very aware of thinking of buying the house  next summer if not latest summer after - & then if it’s in north london I will look to get a car again - I just don’t need one where I live now - but be useful for seeing them etc and when I get a dog - which I really want but my flat & current lifestyle does not support
when I had cats I could drive them easily to my parents and then travel, my mum is happy to share the dog but does not want a new dog permanently due to their age

    Happy Saturday all

  • Wowsers as everyone has said ditch the cornush stuff, I was nearly seduced into trying it. It's been all over my socials for weeks now. Will look for something else!
