Aside from my new ‘let’s get out there and start dating’ I have a new passion as well - a ZIIP Halo to add to my facial stuff - I left my led face mask in London and really missed it whilst I was away - so I have been eyeing up the Ziip for over a year since a vogue review.I realised I could buy it abroad & save £120 on it due to forex - here in UK they £399 so it was my birthday gift and a well done on working so hard gift to myself.
Anyway I love it and now I am home I use the LED mask first then the Ziip - my skin is really glowing and I have a tiny mark on my face (like a pore) and also a sunspot which I am using as my benchmark which popped back over the summer - but I can see them shrinking . Plus you can actually see it lifting - early days as had it less than a month so i will report back
My skin is back to looking like fairies have been gently brushing it at night with dew @ angel dust - super glowy & my pores are almost invisible in some places
I am trying the double whammy - both led and the zip to see if I can see my face lifting - I think my few lines on my forehead are far less pronounced -dawnybabes said:Ooh good luck, I’m dipping my toe in the water and they all seem mad tbh out there !
My first date we had a drink last night and was nice and normal (which I am probably not ) - I read somewhere about meeting people 3 times but we will see - maybe we can go to a gig together or somethingKajiKita said:< straps on seat belt and braces for the ride of LWAP’s dating escapades > 😉
In all seriousness, I hope you find some kind, funny, sensible people out there, who even if they aren’t ‘the one’ are good company, civilised and maybe become friends 😊
KK
I think the seat belt may be necessary & thanks for the good wishes - I /They will need them
Maybe the Androfeme is really kicking in (testosterone) been on it 4.5 months and feel strong, look leaner and fitter, mentally I was able to cope with a lot of pressure whilst I was away.I am feeling ready to get involved with someone - I have been single for a year now
I am seeing another new date today2.0 this time outside a nearby pub he knows - I am thinking meeting 2 each weekend is a good baseline

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Just noting on here
date 2025 1.0 made a point of showing me his very large hands & insisted we did a comparison hand to hand - easily twice the size of mine. Now thinking it was his way of flirting …
I ate loads of dairy last weekend as was in Europe for 5 days in a hotel with a fabulous buffet breakfast - even a gf section & its own DF fridge & GF toaster . However to be mse I would take a plate of GF bread, meat & the fabulous cheeses with some pickles etc to pop in my hotel room fridge for a lunchtime snack to save money .. however that much daily cheese has meant I am this week coughing up mucus and had a huge bloated belly .. plus suddenly an itchy scalp (dairy known to have skin side effects )
I am noting this for myself as I am 100% GF but I keep thinking I can have bits of dairy .. I am clearly quite intolerant especially if I have it for a couple days straight - so annoying
I am off the dairy now - bar some Reese’s pieces last night as there was a comp on it so I bought chocolate - yes I know … and yes this morning I am coughing up mucus a lot . I may be more allergic than I want to admit to dairy
at least I can eat Harib*
Finally printed off Dana K White 5 steps declutter- I know @savingholmes is a fan ..
so I have been focusing on the trash step . Flat already looking tidier /clearer but more to do, much more
Having been away for so long I am super aware of how much stuff I have (& didn’t need as I travelled for months)
food - I am leaning hard into autumn cooking - I buy a FR chicken every few days - gets me 4 meals plus stock - love my pressure cooker
Today from fresh stock I made a lentil and loads green veg soup / some YS watercress, organic spinach, kale & broccoli ends with a bit of coconut milk (frozen the rest in muffin trays ) as well as onion, chilli, fresh lime & coriander
I then served with air fried streaky bacon, GF toast and more fresh lime
I literally had my halogen oven, my air fryer & my PC on all at the same time - my oven looks forlorn as I roasted another chicken to feed me Sun thru Wed in the halogen - quicker & crispierDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
