  • I am now back in london - had a couple drinks with a friend  this eve at an event with live music but then chose not to go to another friends bday as he had originally started his party at 6pm but then he had to push back to starting at 10pm - & he is the other side of London so the £35-£40 uber home later put me off .. so I ended up getting the bus home from Soho :) £1.75 is a much better spend

i also have a load of work to do in the morning and I know his friends party hard which I don’t want to do in a Thursday eve ..,

I have a busy weekend ahead as well so …

apparently I am being paid a chunk from client A in the morning / I have refused to do any more work until he pays me - I know you all will be cheering when I get it

Dana K white 5 decluttering steps are continuing to keep me getting rid of stuff .. more to do but I am managing to release stuff to the CS & some lovely boxes I am keeping have been recycled
I also descaled my smeg kettle & expresso  machine as the latter was playing up

    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Waiting with bated breath before cheering …
(And how much will they owe you? Do no more work for them until the balance is cleared …??)

Sensible decision on the birthday party - that sounds like more hassle than it would have been worth …

(Awaits update, assumes morning means before midday?)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
