    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    Really sorry to hear about your friend that is far too young and terrible for his family. Glad you are ok and moving forward with your plans life is too short you have to grab it.
