In awe of 750 items!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -

@Cheery_Daff !! Re the smeg hob .. you can add one to your list of I won’t buy that - I was looking at them as I went to a smeg kitchen demonstration- really fun half day but suddenly I won’t be buying their big kitchen goods so your work is done
holiday was with MWAP - just a masculine version of LWAP name wise -long weekend away trip
- however he seems to not be a MWAP - a bit drifting for me who is v La Plan - he has admittedly executed some good financial planning in the past but I do like someone with big goals and dreams and though relatively young he no longer doing that .. maybe we just a different stages in life - I have a home to buy etc
So no rush or anything but I can’t see this very long term though it’s been half a year but I have travelled a lot as well so not seen him that muchTrip was amazing though as place was super reasonable and beyond beautiful - plus gorgeous sea and wildlife and food .. and 33 plus with a cooling wind - helped that I speak the language as was mainly locals and we only heard /met one English voice (well Scottish actually)
we never managing biking but we did go kayaking across a lake for a couple hours - fish jumping high around us - we even took some crisps to eat mid row - drifting in a large lake snacking on bbq crisps and water whilst I read about the local wildlife
also ate Guadeloupe food (not sure the adjective !) Colombo chicken and pork - like a curry and sweet potato fries plus some salted fried codfish - but not GF so I couldn’t eat
anyway finally back and I drew on the plane back some areas of my life where I have dreams .. going to print out some pics for a vision board
I have also found where I /we can watch the Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning show for free
- on U.co.uk. And the U Free app - can send links but you can download for free - no cc details needed - some ads initially but watching on phone not too bad.
watched 3 episodes so far (& cried ) but it’s fantastic - also sent mum the link and she watched 3 so far and she is now going through her linen cupboard- woohoo! As I will have that difficulty when my parents go and be lovely if they starts living life less cluttered now - they emptied the loft and it’s in the garage and spare room
3rd episode was a lady who had accumulated a lot of stuff from her mum and mums mum and was finding it hard to let it go even when she hated it (think scary glass eyed dolls) as her mum (now in a nursing home) wanted her to have it allI am now inspired to keep going on the death /life cleaning my hall way still cluttered but paid cash today for the building materials for the cupboard shelving £30 - possibly a waste as it’s a rental and I have to get rid of excess but I am
determined to live as lovely now as possible the shelves are going up Saturday finally - but will sort the clutter waiting to go back in there tonight .... I have excess cupboards that need cleaning out and decisions on craft stuff etc so lots to do as have a DN staying for a week next week doing a course in london so they need /deserve a clear study to sleep.
Some furniture needs to go as well so some decisions there - could be used instead of the shelving but I am feeling very 'less furniture, less stuff, whats left needs to be out of sight'DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

The death cleaning series sounds very powerful.Have you talked to MWAP about why you see your lives as not very aligned for a future together ….?

@KajiKita not yet and tbh he seems pretty chilled - he had messed up his calendar updates (they changed 3 times) re his dates of having his kids so unless I see him this weekend I wont see him for 3 weeks due to this - which I have mentioned and suggested we do something this Friday /Saturday and he has yet to action /respond .. so I am not feeling he that bothered either and I dont feel I will be upsetting him etc - we dont argue and we do have fun so I am thinking we both just thinking this is a good monogamous fun chilled thing rather than either of us planning it to be something more.... I will let it be chilled til end of the summer and review. I am not feeling the need to go out hunting
Now I am back I am feeling rested and focused to move my life forward - did a EMS session yesterday (so beginning of week 4 and because they take weight/body fat etc at the start of each session you know I have added some weight (0.7kg) added some fat (0.9kg!!) some water and lost some muscle 0.4kg) )
Thats the ice creams and not enough swimming!
Summer aims (6 weeks) on top of work stuff
Get clean eating again - had a joint bday party last night so had 2 glasses of cremant - some crisps and chocolate
Drop 8 lbs bf by end of EMS sessions (week 4 of 15 now + then get 2 weeks free (4 sessions))
Daily walking as minimum - but get swimming again
Get my cv updated and look for a new job
do the software course
Get my flat swedish death cleaned
Vision board build
action my vision board (lots to dos on here)
Waiting on new job to start properly flat hunting as easier for mortgage
I am getting 4 session ems free at the end due to a referral to a friend
Accidental Hfresh order -£28.98 had not skipped it - 20% discount but hadnt looked at menus - so got 2 meals with Gluten in - spaghetti (I can swap out ) and hotdogs where the sausages dont have gluten in but the bread will -so a waste of money there
I will cancel fully once i get order
Auction order arrived damaged (think how they packed it)
I bought something via John P*e auction on house again - normally no issue - and picked up from DPD store and you could hear everything flopping around inside - however this was a record player and arrived completely not packed properly so in the box the player had 3 inches each side and top to bottom to flop in the box (the this way up as also hidden by how they boxed it)
So the top was off as was half the parts and the top has arrived with a huge crack in it - which was not as the photos were - no crack was visible in pics and the entire thing was flung around the box so who else knows what was damaged . In the pic there was actual foam podding but that has clearly been thrown out which would have stopped everything moving
I have called them and been told to email - and they will get back within 1 day and i will have to send pics- annoying as paid £192 inc packing vat delivery - they normally £299 but it might have got crazy damaged the way they packed it
I am assuming as the top was not cracked in the photo that it should be an easy return but lets see what they say. I did pay for it via cc at least

Oh that's annoying about the record player. We love our records always have one on. Have you tested it to see if it works okay?
Holiday sounds fab and I think we just have a knowing very early on if a partner is going to fit well long term.
