tx everyone for wishes !
I did a form at speed though and I now need to do it again. Or pay loads more so that one slipped past though to be fair it seems this year is more difficult- past years my quick form filling has been fine
just back from the trip yesterday then rushed to sewing school where we learnt to put zips in and made my first tote bag - I am not accurate but it’s fun and I will get my sewing machine back from family after Easter
trip was fun - we got on v well - he has said I am the best travel companion (err I travel for work abroad loads for decades … so not sure what he expected) He paid for my extra luggage to take on plane which was appreciated so I had clothes to choose from - I paid my flight £188 and some meals etc he picked up rest so even though it wasn’t in the budget I moved monies around
Weather wasn’t great but then I landed in worse rain in london
sat on beach in clothes, did some hiking, lots of restaurants and cafes and cava
it was too windy and damp for boat trip.I did relax and didn’t turn on my laptop for 5 days - unheard of - though did a work email Monday before climbing …
I am so used to being single though and dating takes time ! He is already planning where to go next and also looking at where to go for my summer birthday! So I need to better position life work balance and get more productive to fit things inNow am back I have a last 5 days in March absolute focus to pull off as so many things to do including file corporate tax .. I have been pushing off things where deadline is end March and they all about to hit so ..
still I feel rested happy and can really get things done
planning to see family for weekend out of London and trial that side hustle hobby software
MWAP has said he will see if he can help find software to transcribe my programme for me
Which is nice
weight gain - I do feel huge after trip - no kale or many greens, ate loads of dairy (I have an intolerance) as being GF my options were often limited and too many crisps -
I also left my HRT gel at his at the early morning start so 3 days of none
we drank but not excessively maybe 1-2 drinks max a day - he doesn’t drink much which is good
I have a few pounds to
lose as I don’t fell comfy - he thinks I am perfect (!) but I feel unhealthy and don’t like weight on my belly - a little belly fine but not loads - I feel I am humping extra weight on my thighs too but now i am back on my hrt gel it may help
so this week
get face mask on - I have missed it
get down gym if can find time
eat better - bought kale last night and got salmon out fridge for today
no crisps for a month! I had no haribo - go me - but crisps are
the substitute
I am not drinking much alcohol but needs to be 1-2 glasses a week max til I lose these extra pounds - you don’t burn fat with alcohol in your system

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Glad the trip went well and you have come back feeling rested 😊
I very hear you on the challenge of getting stuff done when there is an ‘other’ in the mix who wants your time … but overall, I find it worth it! 😉😊❤️

Wahoo the trip went well, that is great. And a lot to do means it is a struggle to fit the dating in. I find that too but overall so worth it.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I am liking the general consensus of MSE'ers feeling dating is worth the time, energy and the ££
Who knew you were all such romantics!
I need some naysayers to balance it out.
The MWAP is talking more trips but I have to balance this with my work, hobbies , fitness and friends/family and money of course
ESTATE Agent watch
The head of the EA company (as opposed to the manager of that one branch) is now involved in my complaintI actually realised me charting the buying process on here clearly shows also the 2 day delay on my offer being put forward - definitely extra evidence if I need it!
The local manager has clearly swerved all discussion of it - if he was sure he was wrong he would refute it categorically ...
Flat hunting on pause
I am trying to see a flat tomorrow or next week but its a busy few days
Plus I have been emailed on a further 2 day project which would be good to do but time in the schedule and marketing stuff needs creating etc etc
EOY Tax Money
Money is flying out in different directions for work and more to do so... Just trying to balance extra in pension for year end so I do also need to close 23 24 accts as well this weekend. So I will add maybe a couple ££££ to pension as low this year on contributions and help tax bill but I also want to keep some cash in hand
I cant see me buying in next month but who knows...
FOOD
We had loads of food out in Europe over the weekend but as I am GF so was limited so I ate far too much GF bread, potatoes, cheese and hams, crisps and a bit of choc - I am not keen on too much fish as I have a seafood allergy so only eat it once a week max..
So today I was so happy to have at home a avocado and tomato salad with my main of a huge bed of spinach and kale, cauli rice (Iceland does great 4 packs for £2.50 but often have a 2 bags for £4 offer) and some defrosted smoked salmon - proper real healthy non fattening nutritious food.

Welcome back to Blighty LWAP! Glad it all went so well. If you're with the right person it's magic...I'm on my second marriage and it's fab. There are good people out there love Humdinger xx4

Glad its going well with MWAP but just say you can't commit to any more trips while you have to be ready to jump on flat purchasing. He can have a romantic weekend helping you move boxes in North or East London in the next few months 😁
Hope the viewing is exciting, definitely worth prioritising finding a place over everything else (once you've met financial deadlines).6
