Plasterboard for bathroom wall

Hi
Just at the plastering stage of my bathroom project and was wondering about plasterboard for this bare concrete wall.
Would the board in the link do with some sticking compound or best to use water resistant?
Plasterer will be doing the rest but though I’d do this bit.
Amy help appreciated.

What's that wall going to have on it?

An electric towel rail and high mounted fan heater.

I wouldn't use ordinary plasterboard in a bathroom, either cement board or moisture board

Planning on painting most of the bathroom and fitting some kind of modern non ceramic material for bath and shower area.

The bathroom company used this for boxing in the soil pipe. Not sure what type it is but it’s 12.5mm.

Standard plasterboard is fine if it's not in a wet area. Don't use the B&Q Makegood adhesive as it's blooming awful use Gyproc or Knauf. Unless the plasterer has said it needs doing in advance I'd let him do it as he'll have it done whilst you are still reading the instructions on the adhesive and the wall will only be as flat as the board has been applied.

TIP: If you can work out where the towel rad fixings are going then mark the wall and make sure some good blobs of adhesive are put in those points. That way, when you fit the rad your fixings will be through the adhesive and you have something to tighten to.

Edit: When a wall was to dot dabbed using 12.5mm board I used to allow 25 mm from the face of the existing block to the finished face of the plasterboard - just check this won't interfere with your door casing as you might need to drop down to 9.5mm board.
Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.

That's what I had in my bathrooms last year and how pipes in the latest addition have been boxed in. I then had them plastered and ceramic tiles went on top.

Not sure how helpful my experience is but its a method that works in wet areas.

Moisture resistant PB is often green, so the stuff used for the boxing is probably ordinary PB. If you are going to put a corner bead on, I would strongly recommend a plastic one. Galvanieed will rust eventually, and you'll end up with brown stains coming through any paint finishes.
As for the rest of the wall, tapered edge boards would be better rather than square edge. Leave a 3-5mm gap between the boards and use a mesh scrim tape.

That sounds about right if I can get a plasterer to do it.
Have had two come along and have given quotes but it’s very slow getting it done.
