Morning all.
I have decided the door does need another coat of paint. I am bravely aiming for perfection! I have also decided to remove all the hardware this time, so that will be interesting. I need to go and buy a new tin of gloss first though. But it means I get to use my electric screwdriver.
I also need to write out my next few rows of knitting. I want this finished by Wednesday. My ambition knows no bounds!
My week for the lists...please shout if there's anything special you'd like to see on them.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all
I am having cuppa number 1 looking out of the LR window - looking lovely and autumnal out there, with great wet spiders webs hanging from everywhere . I love autumn. DH still snoring upstairs. We had a lovely evening out with friends and neighbours in friend’s garden. Why was I stressing so much about it?
This morning I am hoping to go out for a walk with another friend - we used to run together at the weekends, then walk regularly when she could no longer run (suited me just fine!), but haven’t done so since the end of last year. DD is out with her friend and doesn’t need picking up until later, so I’m hoping to take the time out to get some fresh air and walk some village paths. Whoops, the bathroom cleaning might have to be postponed. Again.
Valli - don’t forget to tie some string through the door handle hole so you don’t get marooned on one side of the door! After all, what would we do for lists if you did 🤣7 -

Round - maybe it should be Read A Book (and Drink Plenty of Water) Day? Hope you feel better soon. Xx
Ta da! 5+ mile walk done, including fighting through overgrown footpaths, AND bathrooms cleaned 😇.Legs really ache now though. Unfit, moi??!
Need to meal plan after my big fridge and freezer sort out in the week. Have found an aubergine lasagne recipe for this evening, which will start the “use up what we have” campaign.8 -
(((Hugs))) Kaz.Whole house vacuumed with Belovéd's help, our bed changed, futon set up in my office ready for Lodger No 3's arrival tonight, shower room sparkled, two other sinks sparkled. I am completely knackered.Better is good enough.8

Aww Kaz - he must have been so hurt and has clearly been bottling it up.
Door painted. While I had the tin of gloss opened and given the state paint gets in when stored I decided to give the sills in the bathroom and back bedroom another coat of paint too. I've also done some weeding, cleaned the rabbit hutch and understorey and cleaned out the little house that lives in the rabblt run (which is used for sitting on not in) but offers shelter (and I usually stick some hay in there for peckish bunnies. They have benefitted from the weeding though, in the form of dandelions.

Hi all
Will catch you all properly on the new thread but wanted to check in. Weekend away was fantastic. We spent A LOT of money, but I dont care, I need to make memories because you just never know. Amazing 9.5 mile walk done, ticking off 7 Lakeland fells in one walk. DS1s GF was so sweet, she got massive blisters but never complained, she was just so full of enthusiasm the whole time. Not a cross word spoken, we had lots of laughs, and I know that I am truly blessed.
Pigpen I am a big believer in trusting your instincts, taking a photo and measuring the mark is a good idea.
Hope you are OK Round x
PJs on soon and need to make a plan for the week. Not looking forward to the paid stuff but not thinking about it right now.
