Valli said:Quiet in the WAC tonight.Soooo busy at work today. Like christmas, harvest always comes at this time of year, so why am I surprised?!Wm x 1 put on this morning, DD’s work clothes swirling now, dinner cooked, WULTD, clean washing sorted.
YL, have a lovely break, spend time with your boys x
Pigpen, trust your instinct, trust in which ever professional you truly trust in, distrust Mr G00gle. I have never g00gled medical advice since DD’s first diagnosis. It takes a lot of will power, but it will drive you insane otherwise. Hugs (even though I know you’re not a fan!) x8 -

I am a bit over-cautious and a bit neurotic with Twinkle. I am aware of this. whether it is because she is the last baby or because she had the heart diagnosis I don't know.. maybe both.. but I find myself constantly on edge with her health and this got worse when 2 online friends lost their children who were the same age as her, I am not like this with the others.
Dr Google is an uneducated fool.. the problem is the GP isn't much more qualified and mis-diagnosed a few serious things and I nearly lost Boog at 12 when I went in said it was diabetes and she was adamant it was not. She should have sent us straight to A&E but sent us hme and said to go back in 2 days for bloodtests.. Boog collapsed the next morning. I don't trust any of them.
We will see where we are in 3 weeks.. even if no change I will ask for further investigation for my peace of mind so I know I have done everything I can as soon as I could. A child should not suddenly develop a lump of any sort over a few weeks without any illness or injury.
Laundry shuffled
I need to sort a picnic for tomorrow but that will be easier said than done, we have no bread!

Meh. Glossed door, it looks good and it's a massive improvement on how it looked before. Sent DD (usually my co-decorator) a pic. She asked if I was doing them all...err no...that would mean doing all the doors downstairs, all the door frames and skirtings. Although I would like to...and the banisters and spindles. Have finished pink cardigan front but since the new baby is a boy I have started a white one, and a different pattern which is new to me. It's a vintage pattern which cost 9d new (that's about 4.5p in new money lol)
anyway the "meh" is because I have a new problem. My shower screen, curved glass, hardly moves now. It should open like a door but no. SIGHDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all,
That is a nuisance Valli, I hope you can get it sorted asap xx
It was nice waking up this morning knowing we have nowhere to go and a lazy day ahead. I will of course have to get the children out for a walk at some point otherwise they will be glued to screens! I am currently enjoying a cuppa in bed. I will save the laundry for tomorrow as the forecast is much the same for then.
Piggers - I am very relieved for you its nothing serious, but agree to be cautious. Have a good day out xx
Take care all x8 -
Morning xx
4 busy days at the paid stuff and then a Do Nothing day yesterday. I didn't step outside the door - and then I struggled to get to sleep because I'd done nothing. And lots of weird dreams this morning but heyho.
I'm up and dressed, first load is swishing in WM, I've fed the birds, filled the bird bath, put out the cardboard and plastic recycling, and rinsed the cans for recycling.
I've agreed to work on the next 2 Mondays and take the Fridays off...then I'll go back to Mondays off in September. So my week off becomes 11 days off with a Friday tagged on to the beginning. Woot woot.
Working Monday throws me out completely. Even after several weeks of it I'm all to !!!!!! with my days. But heyho. Brownie points for being flexible this month 😇. But I can't wait to get back to my normal routine.
Love to all

Good morning.
Have dragged bunny run back onto garden and set it back up, it is now occupied.
Masking tape/carpet protector from around/under door moved. I used kitchen foil. This was, it turns out, a genius move. Door *could* possibly do with a second coat but the tin is almost empty so it had been flung. I want to leave it at least 24 hours to properly dry anyway.
DW x 1 but I'm watching Debbie Shore so I'll empty it later.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

A morning of odd jobs and get nowhere fast.
DD and friend dropped at next station along the line as apparently CV now means that we no longer get a through train to the capital, or anywhere else useful. A permanent change it seems. Although that was helpfully not the case when she bought the tickets, only a couple of days before she travelled.
Burnt jam made - not intentional but was getting stressed about DD needing something done - NOW!
Wm x 1 done and hung on the airer outside for quick retrieval if it rains.
HHI
Nails banged in wall to hold DD’s new fairy lights.
Rest of the Mr M shopping rehoused, empty jars filled etc.
Bathrooms however which were on the list have not been touched.
Piggers - sincerely hope that I didn’t speak out of turn. That was so not my intention x
Off out this afternoon for a friend’s birthday in their garden. Am stressing on many levels, not least in what to wear, as I haven’t had to socialise for quite a while…8 -
(((Hugs))) Fayolle.Lodger No 2's part professional, part community performance piece was cancelled with less than 18 hours notice yesterday in light of recent events in Plymouth. He's understandably quite jangley today, so I've let him use the WM so he doesn't go home with a suitcase full of grungy undies to wife and tiny baby, and he's gone of on a South West Coastal Path walk. It may be staged in two weeks time - I hope so for everyone's sake; it's been four years in development and a lot of people have worked incredibly hard on it, including the community affected.I'm taking a Flying day off, other than the usual tidying and putting away so that I start tomorrow with a relatively clean slate when I have to get stuck in. We've got an arrival, who is staying for six weeks, and Lodger No 2 doesn't leave until Monday, so the futon in my office is being pressed into service once again, but only for one night.I've just punched my mobile phone. I hate the bloody thing.Better is good enough.8

Back of cardi almost finished. I now have to do a raglan while keeping up with the pattern which has 4 different pattern rows interspersed with purl rows. I think I'm going to have to write it out.
