If you provide them with proper regular readings then they won’t need to use high estimates.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I have but it still high. I also had last year a credit balance over 600 but the next quarterly bill came and wiped out credit balance and added over 800 on top?

If you provide E-on with a meter reading they will be able to provide an accurate bill, otherwise it's just based on their estimate.  What are your actual reading today?  More or less than 24230 for electricity and 10005 for gas?
    I think 24732/ 101475
Read that Gas again !    Watch our for the decimal points and ignore figures after the decimal point.

@Harrywayon  I note you are on a  dual fuel .  Generally separate suppliers are cheaper for Gas and Electric.

As Robin said, you need to double check your readings and make sure that you have any decimals in the right place. You need accurate usage to be able to properly compare other providers.

@Harrywayon on the basis of the my earlier post - that £500 is correct - but there are a lot of Estimated readings which may result in a lower (or higher) bill.   Read those meters again please.

The fundamental question is why are you such a high user ?

It's about twice the "average" - so my question again is why ?   A big old house ?

But first get todays readings to the supplier. Have you reread that gas meter ?
