Welcome BigSpenderLittleSpender!Gibble shifted from one side of the attic to the other and sorted into manageable chunks at long last. I shan't need to resort that little lot again, but the rest of the attic is looking as though a hurricane has blown through. It needs attention but the worst of it is sorted, so I'm happy with it for the moment.Better is good enough.9

Morning all. I'm deliberately in the WAC to watch the sunrise over the sea. Magical.Spend less now, work less later.8

Good morning
cleaned my bedroom yesterday, don't think I said. Awake early (ie usual get up for work time) so have pegged out washing as rain forecast for later.
Back in bed now, though.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Pigpen I hope you enjoyed Filey, it's one of my favourite places in the whole world, not sure why, but I used to love taking the boys there when they were little.
Round, you OK hun? Feeling overwhelmed is common here, just keep taking it one step at a time.
We are away next weekend for our wedding anniversary and so staying away from people as much as possible before then. I am so looking forward to this weekend and worried about one of us getting ill.
So, still in PJs here, we have eaten a cooked breakfast. Today is pottering about at home, windows need cleaning and there is gardening to do. Then tomorrow we are going for a big walk and will take a picnic.
I am on a mission to not spend on anything non-essential for the next few months. I have a £526 car bill to pay, have just lent DS2 £500 for his rent and not sure when I will get that back, and I keep wasting money on rubbish that I dont need.
Have a good Saturday all, catch you later x8 -
YL xx Thank you ❤ I'm taking more time out this weekend. I'm not as worn out as I was last weekend and the miserable brain fog isn't as thick. I've been like Eeyore recently- carrying my own little cloud around 🌧, and not really sure why.
WM x 2 done and on the airer by the back door - easier to grab and bring indoors if one of the black clouds passing over decides to burst. One bowl of pots WU - half DUPA and half LTD. Rubbish and recycling out. Birds fed. Bed made. I'm waiting in for parcels ordered by DS - he did ask first!
My lunchtime dippy eggs weren't dippy - disappointing but I got over it watching a British gold medal being won.
Tried a new (to me) thing called Morning Pages this morning- gave me writer's cramp but I completed the three pages then put the bowl of pots to soak while I sat outside with my tea and toast. So hoping this is something which jump starts my motivation 🙏.
It occurred to me that if I keep doing the same thing I'll keep getting the same results. So time to reset and refocus.
Big hugs to all
Rxx

I've completed one of my summer projects - I have made a new pegbag as my old one was dropping to bits! This time I followed a Debbie Shore tutorial and I'm very pleased with the results. No hand sewing needed. And I'm now the proud owner of a set of Denim sewing macjine needles.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
