Morning all,
Another bright and beautiful day here, I have pegged one load out already and have just put the doormat in to wash. We are up and at 'em today, as the children have a few days away so it's been packing central. They are forecast some rain, as I think most of the country is tomorrow, so I have packed for all weathers!
I need to hoover and mop the hallway and W/C, then hope to read my book a bit this afternoon. This is the third book in just over a fortnight - I have really got my reading mojo back.
Take care all xx10 -

So this August is my month for finishing tasks. I'm so tired of things that need a bit more doing to them but never seem to be done and dusted. I reckon on doing one a day, Monday to Friday inclusive and I was a bit worried I wouldn't have done so the last couple of days because I'm shattered having disposed of 800 tins of food at the biodigester because they're dented and we're no longer allowed to give them out. That's saved the tip fees, the contents are powering a local farm that produces the best ice cream imaginable, the leftover stuff is then used as a fertilizer and the empty cans can be recycled which is a lot better than the whole lot going to landfill, but it was very hard work for a day and a half.Today's finishing off jobs - I went back to the biodigester today to pick up the cans for recycling and I've washed nine crates the Foodbank didn't want back and I can use in the attic, which feeling the way I do I would much, much rather have left until another day *when I've got time* which is my permanent mantra and why nothing is ever finished here. So, 4/4 for August and I've realised exactly why there's always so much left over to do.I got covered in chopped tomato gunk and bean juice *utterly revolting* so two day's clothing went through the WM as soon as I got home today, along with the other darks and are dangling as I type. It's due to rain for a week after today so I'm making the most of the sunshine.Better is good enough.7

Evening
Another one making the most of the sunshine today, 3 x wm run and out on line in between working, full day of paid stuff but I’ve also done the other dailies so not too bad. Going to potter in the garden now for some fresh air before having supper.
take care x7 -
Evening all,
There was sunshine??! I missed that, crazy work done, very little flying done apart from dinner cooked, kitchen tidied, WULTD, gh watered. DH apparently went to the allotment and did some weeding before I got home. The Council in its wisdom has started 3 sets of roadworks for a month along the only road into small town. Not at all inconvenient or disruptive for the work commute.I think that’s about it for today. A big Must Do Better note written for tomorrow.8
