I am thinking I might sort out some of my clothes this afternoon… my wardrobe is bulging and it really needs it, then again I might just enjoy the unusual sunshine and sit in the garden with my book

Hi ladies
Thank you for the lists, I have skim read but not taken much in. Piggers - I’ll be thinking of you on holiday, I hope you get some time to relax XX
Bad cat it’s lovely to see you x
Lots of flying done today. The BD was on me from the moment I opened my eyes, so I got straight in the shower and have made myself be busy all day. Not hard with both kids at home! Fresh bedding on my bed, kitchen put to bed, list written for tomorrow.
DS desperately wanted to go to a local sports club tomorrow, it’s £10 for the day, I’ve signed him up as he will love it and burn off lots of energy. I’ve ‘taken’ £10 back from the food budget for the week to cover it.
Also been flying at a friend’s today - she is having a hard time of it and is working away tonight so I gave her kitchen a good bottoming and did a load of washing for her. It’ll be nice when she gets home tomorrow.
Sleep well xx

I have cleaned my kitchen and my bathroom. Towels in WM.
I have input my receipts into bank spreadsheet and added the direct debits which will go out during August. Been for coffee with a friend - gave her a jar of HM jam - this counts as flinging. More stuff has been sorted in office/back bedroom - I have moved the printer to a more sensible position. Sis ius coming up to mum & dad's tomorrow; I'm going for lunch so I am taking all the anniversary/birthday cards for August which I wrote yesterday. There are 5 so that's a considerable postage saving.
I have sorted my handbag, too.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear7 -
Asb that was kind of you, I bet your friend appreciates it.
I am trying to stay positive despite the fact that work are determined to pile more and more projects and pieces of work on to me. No-one is listening to me and I am almost at the point where I am just going to say to my line manager that I cant cope.
Anyhow that aside its been a good day. Got a load of washing dried outside, clean washing folded and put away, one meat and one veggie shepherds pie made which seemed to take me ages. Took the doggie for a very short walk so we both got a bit of fresh air, did a stretch and tone class first thing. Kitchen was done on Saturday so I am fairly up to date.

Nice to see you both, Jazee and BadCat xx
Well done for ignoring the BD, asb x
Rosie was complimented by the vet on her good teeth and thick coat, and he was also pleased with her weight loss and the positive effect of the green-lipped mussel tablets on her arthritis since her last visit. She took her vaccination and pedicure in her strideWe went for a shortish walk in the park on our way home, rather than going up the big hill, which I don't think I could have managed, as my migraine was at its worst by lunchtime.
I slept all afternoon: didn't even bother to hang out washing as it looked as if it might rain again, so resorted to the TD. This evening I have done QHI, re-made DH's bed, and made two long overdue phonecalls. DD has also rung me, and it looks as if we might be hosting DGS1+2 this weekend and DGS3+4 next weekend. My diary is now bulging.
Migraine-be-gone-quick-and-don't-come-back-this-month vibes would be much appreciated.

Get well vibes to Ionafan.
Furniture now back where it should be after the carpet cleaning.
Most of house flown round.
Been swimming.
Did a bit of shopping, got Mr N a couple of little things for his big day tomorrow (already contributed to new camera lens) so he has something to open.
Did a load of gardening.
Booked a couple of excursions for planned hol with Mum in Sept.
Had a strange text from eye unit - I was referred after last optician exam showed slightly raised intraocular eye pressure so she wanted just to be sure it wasn't the start of glaucoma. On Fri, hosp rang me to say ophthalmologist was ill so I would get a letter informing me of new appt - original wasn't until next Monday (9th) anyway. Text today said my appt was 9th and would be by phone. Call me stupid, but how do they check your eye pressure by phone???? I've had a contact lens check by phone during lockdown, but as I've been wearing them for 40+ years it was just a matter of saying there were no problems.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
I can't see (fnarr) how they can do a glaucoma check over the phone either Narco.
iona hope you're feeling better.
rabbits back in the hutch and I'm in bed. Goodnight all and hope the WAC is closed...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Welcome back Jazee and BadCat. Migraine-be-gone vibes heading your way, Ionafan.Food file not done, but garlic butter made with all the garlic I harvested late that was just starting to think about sprouting when I lifted it a couple of weeks ago - that took all afternoon but it's now done. Album notes tidied into the right places, so 2/2 of Outstanding and Unfinished Tasks in August.Better is good enough.8

Morning all,
DD's white trainers are in the WM, as they were very grubby. DW unloaded, chickens and children fed, now to get ready to walk DS to sports club. My friend is coming over to mow my grass today, in exchange for a sausage butty - small pleasures.
Have lovely days all x9
