  • He cancelled.

    Am gutted.

He had his flu jab and some treatment for his back yesterday and I think he is exhausted by it all, sounded rotten on the phone. I feel so bad for him, stuck in hotel not feeling well at all and no one to care for him.

I hope he is ok. XXX

  • Oh no that sucks!!!!  Hope you are ok.  Is there any chance of seeing him again soon?
  • I won't seen him now till the end of term.

I was ok last night, watched a film and made an awful omelette for dinner.

Today I am angry. Fed up with it all and frankly after spending the morning doing housework I am so sick of it. I can't even be bothered to explain.

How long now until the care needs assessment? I feel like at least a few weeks must have gone by. Hang on in there for your weekend away xx
  • Oh it's so rubbish Buffy.  I'm not surprised you're cheesed off.  Really really hope things get better soon x
  • Mum and I just had one of those conversations and she genuinely cannot see how there are any problems with the house, the situation and well anything. Also it costs more than 800 pounds to run the house a month. FINE.

I just have to admit this and move on. My family are not supportive - mostly because they can't be, distance, personal situation, illness whatever. The fact remains that my life is on me.

I don't have an especially safe future. I know none of do really and we never know etc etc, I think what I mean is I do not have a plan. A goal, I have been in a holding pattern since 2017. Uncertainty coming from all angles. That plus covid and mum being so ill means I keep sort of saving and sort of doing stuff. But not with a date or a plan in mind, mainly cos I feel I have left everything so late. I sort of circle around stuff without going for it.

Need to get on with more house work too late, mum got up...........moaning in 3,2,1

  • Sorry to hear your friend cancelled - hope he recovers well.

Don't beat yourself up over not having a plan - just about everybody's have had to be revised in the last 2 years, and it's still hard to predict what happens next.
