Sorry about all your news. Hopefully you’ll be able contact your friend soon.
Work sounds a tad manic….it seems the same with everyone who works in schools atm. Not too long until October half term.

  • Sad news about bun, you've given him so many chances, at least you know you tried your best for him.

Hows your friend on the ventilator doing?

And how is your Mum coping with you being back at work?

My friend amazingly has been allowed home, she can barely walk, has oxygen. She came off the ventilator about 10 days ago. I am not sure if she is home due to insurance concerns or if she is genuinely well enough. The walking thing is a big worry.

Mum is sort of ok, as initially she was on steroids, but these are wearing off and she is back to confusion and pain again.

And I am sort of ok with Bun, can't bear it really but as you say I have given him chances and done all I can. The specialist said nothing can be done and he will be in pain at some point. She was so so kind. I think it will be either Sunday or Monday.

Mum got a call asking her to go into the hospital yesterday and she said no...............Instead we are going today. I am hoping so much that they give her the covid delayed treatment as that would significantly improve things.

Best get on as mum as finished in the shower and we need to leave at 9.30

  • I have to go to the opticians.

Feeling so sad today. I haven't got to see my best friend yet, need to sort house bun's appointment. Him and !!!!!! head got me through lockdown and now I won't have either of them. one of my other very good friends said she was sorry everything was so challenging for me, as in nothing was easy or straightforward and I hate to think that as I feel like I am whining or that everyone has the same problems and I should get on with it but it was funny hearing it from someone else. So plainly.

Any how this sums up my mood.

  • Hello

Am back from the opticians. He was lovely and I pick up my glasses in two weeks. I also got a loaf of bread, and some lunch in m and s. I can't really afford it but I couldn't face another long negative conversation about what to have for lunch.

I did my walk, had a little cry and then came home to my (nice) neighbours who were about to go out on a massive bike ride, with a very cute friend, was happy to see I noticed this !

    Now I am tired.

    Nap time!
