  • Half term is here.

    I am SO exhausted.

Still skint. tho actually am hanging in there with only 100 on the CC and I can get petrol with my actual bank money.

Half term list a la Benben
    Five big things
    1. My room - Cleaned and rearranged.
    2. Conservatory - cleaned and insulated as cheaply as possible and rearranged
    3. The kitchen- rearranged and made easier for mum
    4. My shed - cleaned out (am leaving Mum's it is mostly going to rain here) and charity shop/tip
    5. The living room - if I can manage to sort the conservatory then some furniture can be moved.

Extra - Any kind of gardening awful mess but it is going to rain for most of it. So we shall see.

Essentially all parts of this house bar the spare room and Mum's room will have had a going over. I need this house to help me whilst I am working and caring for mum. and the animals.

    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Hope your mum is doing ok.  Make sure there’s time in that list for you too!!!

I forgot mention (got hungry) that mum since the tranfusions has been a lot better. She has been eating both breakfast and lunch and although I am still doing "the house" she is much more on the ball and with than she was in the summer. It is worrying as 1. the doctors should have picked it a year ago and 2. I just put it down to the heat at first - her being ill. so I need to be careful re monitoring her and not put things down to heat/cold/lack of sleep. We also don't talk about food ! as in I don't get anything for her lunches and vice and versa. It has worked well and we aren't arguing about food.
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • It’s good you are no longer arguing about food.

Make sure you’re balancing yourself with the jobs.

Pleased to hear you’ve made progress with the food battles.
There are 5 big things on the list and 5 half term days ( presuming you’ve not got in service days)….. doesn’t leave much time for fun.

Glad your mum is a lot better since the transfusions. Hope you get some time for yourself amongst all the doing.
