I’ve also been watching the funeral today. So moving 😢 I hope the family get some time to grieve alone now, they’ve marched all over the country behind that coffin.

I thought that too, how hard must it be to constantly put a brave face on and be formal, remembering all the rules and expectations when there is a big voice in your head screaming she is there any more. I mean those early days of losing someone you love are so surreal.

Got a stunning headache. All the tension XX

Surely you should have hot water at work given you work in a school! I also dread the dark days of winter. The debt is within your control even if the other things aren’t. Take care Buffster x

  • Oh Buffy, I wish there was something I could do to help.
Is the hot water problem at work or at home?

  • The hot water is at home. I don't especially mind as it comes on occasionally and I can mange but Mum can't and gets upset. The service we pay for can't come till the 18th. I am meant to cleaning the house in preparation for the visit but the house is so hot it makes me feel ill plus I am so tired it is unreal so I went and had a nap for a couple of hours today. I do feel better. Perhaps if I work on the house more quickly they can come sooner but so much needs doing and I am afraid I am fed up with constantly working all week to work all weekend for nothing and never just being able to get up without a heavy list laying over every cup of tea or time spent on the sofa. I can never relax. The to do list never ends. And I Am aware it never does but I never get a break and If I do something with a friend the guilt and time wasted is immense. I would like be ahead for once. or at least not to keep having things go so wrong. I walked out to feed the fish last night and I am sure the floor in the conservatory is bowing. I was too tired to cry but honestly.

    My friend is seriously depressed
Every room in the house is a mess or needs cleaning.

  • Right I ordered another chest of drawers for my room and I can move 2 small ones out of the shed and use those under my desk. That will give me way more storage. Am going to order some naff (cheap) nets, I have always been a curtains only woman but would like more privacy and fitting a blind is beyond me plus I have nice actual curtains so that is good.

The big problem is the house bun. I really want a cage on wheels for easy cleaning but I can't find one. I might be able to put wheels on one I have.

    Nevertheless she persisted.

Just a thought but would work allow you drop a day. I know a few teachers that have done this and the saving of petrol and taxes has meant they have been down on cash but not as much as they expected. It might not work for you but I’m just trying to throw ideas in the pot…..
