Wishing him better soon.Who was it that said, the timing is never right…..just when, hopefully, you could relax a little after all the extra anxiety about your Mum recently.
  • Not foster boy is currently asleep. I suppose because once you have experience of the animal you own and you know something is up you recognise it more and so you get treatment more. For most people a rabbit not eating is left to see if they sort themselves out for example but the reality is if a rabbit doesn't eat their tummy can fill with gas and they can die a very painful death, it can happen very quickly. Similar thing for guinea pigs tho in my experience much rarer and far easier to fix. I found not Foster boy pretty much collapsed in the aviary and very very disoriented = vets. Any off behaviour = vets. Their life is in your hands. He wouldn't eat but we don't know why. Could be stress. Could be another illness like cancer.

Mum hasn't been so good today. Sometimes it seems like her pain relief doesn't work. I think worry is a really permanent part of me now.

I wanted to sort out a space for NFB but Mum is asleep upstairs. I can't make any noise.

Instead I did my banking and sent some money to the crazy vet bill I have. Have also done the washing more or less. Steak for dinner.

    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Mum seems much brighter after her nap thank God.

That’s good. She might have just needed some extra sleep today. I know she’s in pain a lot too.

Poor bun. One of mine is getting old now. He’s slowing down a bit and seems to be resting a lot more. Still loves his food though and can happily love round the garden. He also likes resting in a certain place. My neighbour looked after them when I was away and she said she found herself talking to them and sitting with them. She got quite attached!

  • Bun is very perky and will be living as a house bun for as long as I have him. he likes his food! and has worked out very quickly how to get mum and I to give him a treat every time we walk past the pen!!

Had a good chat with mum today about how sad we have been. Sort of broke a dam in me for the tidying, I cleaned part of the conservatory out and "found" enough to fill 8 freaking bags of recycling! (mostly hay/food boxes but still eight!)

Am watching Afterlife and it is so good, really deeply sad and then hilariously funny. Ricky Gervais is so bloody funny, I don't really like him exactly........well I do  but I don't want to!! :) Sometimes he is really mean to people. I do laugh but I also feel bad....

Tomorrow is a busy busy day. Should go to bed really. Am so tired and achy. need to check the cc bill. Completely forgot to pick up a Big River order so that should be refunded.

  • Ok Hive mind

The heel and now today the soles of my feet are hurting to the point they are making me feel sick, my left is worse than my right and it is sort of pulsing with pain, the right just feels bruised. My two best mates invited me out today but aside from the crazy errands I have to do I didn't think I could walk that far. Just walked the dogs and it was so painful.

I think maybe plantar fasciitis? They have hurt for a couple of weeks now but today is so bad!
