Back to the clothes questions.
I donated a lot of my clothes and am always eying up more to go. If I had my way I would wear black all the time, but can't find enough normal plain black stuff in my price range - which is cheapy cheep cheaps!
I did find a nice dress on the big river shop. so got one plain and one patterned. Also a decent top. Got a couple of friends who will shop with me, one who will make me buy things and the other one who will willingly sit in a pub when we get fed up....
Today was rough. busy. tiring. We have a lot to do.

Re clothes - if you know your style and colours, I would suggest you seriously consider going up a notch or two on the price range. The perfect thing that you wear loads and love can work out cheaper than replacing make-do's.

I look for brands that I like, order a couple of things (or try on in store) to ensure I know the sizing - you can return what doesn't fit, or even all of it - then look for items from that brand, in the correct size, on ebay or Vinted. For example, I ordered a dress from a Cornwall brand that I like, in a couple of sizes, splashed out and kept the one that fitted (I loved it, and returned the other one), and now look for other items from that brand on the preloved sites. And it is always worth looking in charity shops, too, especially if you live in or visit a posh town, where the donations are likely to be of good quality. My town is decidedly not at all posh, but I do occasionally visit fairly local ones that are.I also have a classic style button through navy blue dress from another brand (a posh huntin' shootin' and fishin' one), in a linen mix fabric, which washes and irons like a dream, that I have had and worn for about 18 years. I bought this new to dress up for a wedding, and it wasn't cheap, but has proved to be worth the money, as it still looks great, and is a flattering style and fit which can be dressed up or just worn casually with a cardi as a summer frock. I would rather have a few nice items than lots of fast fashion type things.2

I used to like Fatface but I realised that I hadn't bought anything there for about 9 years! Their stuff clearly lasts! Everything else is the big river shop. Am a nightmare for finding something I like and then buying it in all the colours! I have 5 dresses in the same style but all different.........
I had a decent day today. and got to play with the guinea pigs. And found some maltesers.
