    Just a quick drop in, Mum says one energy bill is 59 and the other one 99. 

    So I think it is reasonable to estimate that it could go to 120 and 200, thus being 320 a month? I suppose it could be less but I think best to plan for the worst?

    It depends what tariff you're on for the current bills.  I worked out the changes in cost for a year's usage and the October price cap is three times my old fixed deal.  Double might be about right for April to October, but could go up again for both winter usage and because you may not have built up credit before then. 
    Would your mum give you the info so you can sort out the best deal and keep tabs on meter reads?

  • I am still exhausted. Has been an emotional time at work. Emotional personally too. Am ok, just surviving, one day and a week till holidays.
