Great news re living room, fish tank and stairlift. Sorry about your friend - I agree with Rosa that it's hard because all the shows on tv tell us we should have "our" people and for the vast majority, life is just not like that. But if your friend is causing you more upset than joy, it's time to kick her to the kerb!4

Hi Buffy
Sounds like you are making great progress with the house & good news especially about the stair lift.
I haven't watched Reacher yet (the books are a bit grim for me these days) but agree that the prime actor looks just how Reacher should look
Hope you have a good day

I am feeling frustrated today.
Have to take Mum to the dentist. Dog one isn't well - but I can't tell if he is ill or stressed, he goes off of his food if stressed and yesterday the stair lift guy and the whole moving furniture thing.... neither of them have eaten their dinner for two days which is normal when I do "stuff" in the house. But Dog one was sick in the garden.
I am quite stressed about work. I just don't have time to do my job well. I did some work last night and felt better but when I woke up this morning and saw the state of my room and then went out to the rabbits. They need to be sorted out and bonded but I only have a week off.
Just had to go upstairs to help Mum. I feel terrible writing this but I just want a day off. I was just finishing a cup of tea and watching Charmedand then she is there stumbling around up stairs. So scary. I am so stressed by all the things I am not doing or getting done. Mum is so frail and virtually immobile. She finds the appointments really stressful. So do I. And being at home you would think I would know by now she has a cup of tea, I need to let the dogs out, feed the animals and by then she is in the shower, she doesn't like the dogs being downstairs alone and it used be ok as I would do school work then but this holiday I am just too overwhelmed. It is too much. Now I have to coax her into breakfast....
Am going to work on my room when I get home from the dentist. Hopefully once the dentist is out of the way we will feel better. XXX

ok. back from the dentist.
Not great news. my poor Mum. Can't be helped now.
She is now more relaxed as we are home. And so am I !
I think one of the guinea pigs is ill so she is going to the vets tomorrow. Worrying. She is ok in herself but I do think it could be serious.
I am watching Jack Reacher again. He is certainly diverting.Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
