I'm a teacher so I can think of a billion reasons but why is work bad at the moment? xxx4 -
Have you checked with the waste company Buffy? The local council did the same for my Mum which was such a blessing as otherwise as we lived away had to rely on neighbours.3

My mum has this too - its called Assisted Bin Collection where she lives.
Implementation is a bit hit or miss though.2 -
Sorry about your friend Buffy. And about work. Life does seem to be a series of peaks and troughs and I'm sure it's never just "normal"!1

Buffy, I have read through your diary and want to say you should not be so hard on yourself. You are doing a great job in very stressful times.2 -

I just did my expenses for the month ahead.
The difference between the amount I have and the amount I need is 68.35, going to be a super tight month.
It is because of Christmas and the car insurance (I am hoping when I get the new car it won't be near Christmas!) and I have gone back to saving for both now . Really last year my lovely house bun cos me so much money I couldn't keep the emergency topped up and it at this point I have run out of money. I owe myself 500 pounds, well actually it is 1000 now I think about it. !!!!!!.
Anyhow the no spend Jan has help as I am able to pay back 500 of the money(this would have been my "normal" CC bill!!) (tho I do reserve the right to borrow it if there is a disaster). I will also have my "wages" from job 2. They will cover petrol... big sigh. I am still only doing house savings and can't build up the emergency pot yet till March's pay. I also probably won't be able to over pay the loan which is annoying.
I am going to carry on my self imposed no Big River with one exception, I can buy gifts for others as it is too difficult to shop for gifts, my high street is rubbish and it would be expensive to go into town. I have to say not only having one delivery for the whole month (pet stuff) has been great. No endless boxes of crap. the hall is mostly clear! I still haven't solved the hay problem, not going to order the cheap hay till Half term as have no where to put it.
I am also going to continue not buying anything aside from food and drink and being able to socialise.... I need to be more organised.
With this in mind I am clearing out my room today. NOW. I was going to sort out the rabbits but my friend pointed out that I could leave it until half term now. And my room reallly needs help!!
Nevertheless she persisted.5
