ok, so I have found a much cheaper place for Gp's hay, like much cheaper. So that will be ordered next month, since I have already ordered the expensive stuff. 26kilos for 13 quid! Amazing.
I will try the rabbits with it. if they like it it will be saving me over half what I pay now.Nevertheless she persisted.4 -

Both would be more if I hadn't gone for lifetime insurance from the minute I got them, in fact the cat would be uninsurable by this point (she is a rescue with various issues). They do get really good food because I think it saves on vet bills overall as well as gaining quality of life for them, and the dog is in her first year so has cost more in equipment. I feel similar to WW and Buffy, they are my responsibility so they get the best I can do for them, if my situation changes then I would have to review it but for now this is where we're at. They do work out to as much as my entertainment, eating out, clothes and petrol budget all put together though - never dared look at it like that before!Hi DIA, it goes up bit by bit (for example, the cat has gone from about £8/month when I got her ten years ago to about £15/month now) but if I understand rightly it can't be refused for renewal as long as I still pay, and it's much less than it would be if I tried to move to a new insurer (who would either refuse cover for existing conditions or hike the premium a lot). A bit of background here from one of the companies I use.I basically have my animals insured because I don't have sufficient savings to take the hit if they needed major surgery and I don't want to have my options for their care limited by money, plus it means if they got a long term condition it could be funded even if my income changed. Ideally I want a bit set aside for excess payments as well, that's being built back up now after being used last year.I am probably well on the expensive side here so if you post when you're thinking more about it there will be lots more opinions on what you need and what's worth having

I have a cold. And a tummyache! Suffice to say am feeling SUPER sorry for myself !! The rabbits are still a nightmare.
But I can go to bed in a minute. I had a nice dinner. I do have a nice weekend planned. Hair done and seeing my mate for drink, not special friend but a good drinking buddy.
Somehow I am going to manage the rest of this week. xXXNevertheless she persisted.3 -

Well then you were right to be wrong! I’ve given up trying to remember what day it is, they’re all the ruddy same. I only know it’s Thursday when the bin lorry comes up the road at 7am and I have approx 30 seconds to put clothes on and sprint through the house and garage and wheel the bins down the drive. Sets you up nicely for the day - not!4
