Couldn't find any skimmed in the local supermarket so ended up using Whiskas' cat milk in this morning's coffee - surprisingly decent!

Noticed that skimmed milk we hardly get any and reverted back to semi skimmed. Getting Lidl’s own filtered semi skimmed milk. Even with my colleague discount- it’s still about 28p cheaper than my employer’s own.

I hope you don't run out of tinned stewing steak...
That's nothing - wait until they run out of toilet paper. :open_mouth:

In our area it seems to be Tesco that is having the most problems.

On three recent shopping visits the milk aisle area has been bare.  This then necessitates an extra trip to another shop just for milk.  Aldi, Lidl, Asda and two local CoOp stores don't seem to have a problem and always have stacks of milk.  We have started to change away from Tesco as I can't be bothered with playing 'hunt the milk'.

My local Sainsbury's is completely out of Arla Organic Semi-skimmed Lactofree. We are buying milk for husband from Abel & Cole and freezing it. They don't sell the organic Lactofree so husband has been scrambling for it at Tesco and ASDA (doesn't sell the organic one).

However, I found Lactose Free UHT - JUST MILK with 0% lactose it's long life and 6 litres is 6.99 plus 3.99 delivery. That's cheaper than Costco online. Amazon has it but bigger packs and longer delivery time. Unsure if it works out cheaper. It's possible to have a monthly subscription and save money.

Coop had a recorded announcement playing in store today apologising for shortages.

I think we can safely conclude that shortages exist. 🤔😉

I noticed the price has been hiked up by a few pence at my local Tesco Express.
