The regulars here have complained long and hard about the "official" parking ticket page on MSE. It is now marginally better than it was, but it still has old, out of date, and financially dangerous advice. 

I wouldn't trust Martin or the MSE team to get it right unless he simply introduced someone like Coupon-mad and let them explain the whole unregulated system. Other than that I wouldn't want him speaking on behalf of motorists.

He may be financially savvy, but I don't believe he knows enough about this problem to be of much help.

He is financially savy in certain types of finance such as credit cards but there are huge blanks in his knowledge about other areas of finance which he admits. 

If the ball was rolling regarding claims in respect of the fake add ons I think he would be onto it. I don't think that he would have the knowledge to start the ball rolling.

It also could apply to someone who had paid the PCC at the stage after the claim is passed back to the PPC because the debt collector has not collected yet £60.00 has been added on.

CAB advice for private parking charges has been woeful all along. They almost always recommend paying to avoid further action. They don't understand the issue.
