WHY .. because MP's are receiving complaints about private parking companies in their droves ?
HEADS UP GUYS ...... you are in the lead
What the BPA want is simply an extention of the 2012 disaster, and waht a disaster it was ?
When the MHCLG fully understand the extent of this money extortion, they will need to review why an ATA is approved . It should also tell them that the ATA's .. the BPA and IPC simply are not fit for fairness other than the desire for their members to make money
The BPA say they are driving up standards ? Come on MHCLG WAKE UP don't be duped as the DFT were in 2012

Just to say thank you to Coupon-mad and others for all the hard work in general, and for keeping us on track with this subject in particular. I have done the consultation, written to my MP and got my girlfriend (different MP) to do likewise. DavidThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.5

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

C-m has suffered the wrath of MSE Towers? One imagines some parking company goons have complained and MSE have simply taken the easy way out. 🙄
PS - how do you know? When I go to her profile I simply see that her profile is private.Jenni x4 -
Hope it is not the MHCLG who actually complained?
Anyway, email sent to my MP based on @Jenni_D post (thank you) with some of my own words.

Whilst I was looking for a poster from Newark I came across a very funny comment. I won't post it verbatim on here because I may be banned as a result.
Apparently Elms have an office (two rooms) in Newark and every time the forum member drives past they shout 'losers'.

I am very undecided about the type of regulation for the debt collection agents. As we know they are not regulated at present. I would like to see them regulated by the FCA but the consulation suggest another regulator. If that happens it must mirror the FCA in terms of regulation.
Hopefully the need for debt collection will be greatly diminished when the new CoP and Single Tier Appeals Service is introduced.
What do others think?

I noticed that a new poster today has received debt collection letters from a number of different collectors within a short space of time. That is designed to intimidate and it is not allowed under FCA regulation.
Neither is making a debt collection letter appear as if the debt has been assigned which is what DRP has done in the past.
