    Hi all,

Before I got my curtains, I taped the old panel blinds to the patio doors for privacy. On one of the doors I had to tape the side of the blind to the glass (rather than the door frame).

Now I've removed the blinds but the masking tape dried up and I can't get the masking tape residue off the glass! I've tried hot water, stardrops, window cleaner, furniture polish but it just wont budge. :(

    Any ideas please!?

I've got a bottle of Sticky Stuff Remover which has worked on everything I've tried so far.

Yes. It's so long ago I can't remember where I bought mine but there's plenty on Amazon.

If its glass I'd go for a stanley knife blade - even at a push an expired razor would do it - you shouldn't scratch the glass as glass is harder than steel. Blade flat along the glass and scrape.

    Other places stock it too.

Good stuff, removes chewing gum, sellotape residue and lots of other sticky problems.

  • Our local Aldi had some sticky stuff remover in the reduced section this week.
I would try meths and a blade if you can't get any.
