  • How come I can never get deals like that Bubbs? Though to be fair, I wouldn’t have been able to buy it as I am allergic to it!

Glad test went well Denise, shame about holiday.

Well done to those who avoided temptation!

Shock of shocks, 1 1/2 off and SOTW, did not see that coming, best I was hoping for was a maintain as I had been home.

Our venue is going to be rented o a nursery so our consultant is having to find a new one, not looking good at the moment, not enough venues near and difficult to get something that will suit most.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

    Congratulations @Gettingtherequickly! 👏👏👏

We've had many venues over the years too. I think the latest one is the best. It's brand new and close enough to home for me to walk if I had time.

I think I got off lightly compared to the golf club @joedenise. DD chose Zizzi because it's close to the shops. I had pomodoro so less synful than most dishes. I did have courgette chips which were much more battered than the ones I had in the independent Italian last week. I won't have them again, reminded me of the batter bits from the chippy! 🤣 Lunch again tomorrow then back on plan.

You've been having everything on plan @bubbs and using syns and HEXs. What else can you do?? 🤔

    What's pomodoro?

You could fry up some extra mushrooms, tomatoes and onions then add the portion of sweet and sour to stretch it out a bit and have fruit after if still hungry? 🤔

Pomodoro is a tomato based pasta sauce so much less synful than the creamy ones. It has some whole cherry tomatoes in it too. Today's one had a little buffalo mozzarella (HEA😇) on top. OK but I prefer Parmesan.

beanie I realised after I'd posted why you'd asked!  I suspected you might have been ex PO or something.

Well done GTQ, great loss and SOTW too.

maman don't think I'd of wanted to eat something like pasta for breakfast 🤣🤣🤣!  Courgette chips sound revolting - I love courgettes but can't think of anything worse than battering them.

Once I know what appointments I have for next month then we'll sort out somewhere else to go instead.  I'm not too unhappy about not being able to go to France until December as the markets are brilliant, even though I rarely buy anything except Gluhwein!  When we were working we often used to go across to France for a week or so around Christmas.
