Thanks all. The rain held off most of the time but we ended up eating indoors as it was looking very threatening! However we could probably have eaten outside as the rain held off until about half hour ago. The family went about 3.30pm saying they were going to pop into DD1s on the way home - she lives fairly close to us, not quite on the way home but not far out of their way.
I didn't really enjoy the ribs - they were OK but feel they are just a waste of syns - I'd would have far rather have had a couple of glasses of wine for the syns, LOL! The halloumi and pepper skewers were nice though, as was the potato salad (made using LO tinned potatoes).
Have loaded the van as much as we can but still a few last minute bits to put in before we can go.
No idea what the internet reception is like where we're going but it is quite rural so wouldn't be surprised if it's rubbish! So I may or may not manage to get online over the next few days!
Enjoy your roasts maman and bubbs. We don't seem to have roasts that often as often away or want to use up something from the fridge or freezer!

Enjoy your trip Denise. I think I am finally in a position to book a flight home, reluctant to do anything just yet as there are very few flights at the moment, so choice is rubbish.A smile costs little but creates much0

Morning all. Weather looking good today and the forecast where we're going is showing little to no rain over the next 3 days so hopefully we'll be OK weatherwise while we're away - we're coming home Thursday for a few days before going off again next Monday.
As long as we stick to the food I've planned we'll be on plan food wise - syns will be alcohol as usual!
Today's plan:
B - cereal; milk - HEB; HEA2
L - butter chicken, rice - P; S; F
D - stifado; mash; green beans (from garden) - P; S; F
HEA1 and 2 - milk
HEB - Weetabix
Syns - rum?
Have a good day everyone.

For the umpteenth time I am starting weight loss journey again today. Weighed myself and am heaviest I have ever been. Done SW countless times, lose a couple of stones and then put it all back on plus a bit more.
The thought of filling in food diaries, eating horrible yoghurts and thinking about every single thing I put in my mouth is depressing me already. I can’t even contemplate the idea of going to group and hearing the same old stuff being churned out over and over again. So I will try and do it myself. I have all the books, I know most SW recipes off by heart and I will start exercising more. Onwards and upwards …… 😂1 -
Morning everyone, have a lovely time away Denise. I had a good weekend food wise but some celebratory wine was consumed at losing was consumer which defeats the purpose as I'll need to be extra careful for the rest of the week!
Today's menu is:
B - f/f Greek yog with nectarine, strawberries and raspberries
L - tuna with spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, s/onions, peppers and pickles
D - gammon steak with veg hash (potatoes, sweet potatoes, onion, pepper) and broccoli
HEA1 - s/s milk
Syns - none planned
Sunshine is back so cracking on so I can finish work a bit earlier.0 -
Morning all! Well done to all the losers (especially bubbs, whoop whoop finally!) Half a pound off for me this week which isn't to be sniffed at as it was star week. So very close to that 40lbs loss again, I will get there eventually!
Have a pretty busy week at work this week so will just be popping in quickly. Breakfast this morning was ff yogurt and strawberries, lunch is going to be left over meatballs in a pitta with salad and cous cous and dinner is homity pie with Linda M Sausages.

Enjoy your break @joedenise.😊
Well done on your loss @ruby_eskimo.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 It'll be interesting to see what happens on a 'normal' week.
I'm sure you can use your syns for the celebration drinks @Jellybaby. I remember when I first started SW, we had people in our group who always worked on the premise that everything was syn free on WI day. 🤣
Welcome @Pennylane. You obviously know the plan but if you need any syn value then just ask. Lost of us have access to the SW site.
I'm sure you know that you really don't have to eat yogurt if you don't like it. I occasionally buy 0% Greek but have never fancied flavoured stuff. I'm fortunate that I only cook for two of us and have a very supportive DH who shares the cooking and happily eats whatever. I'm probably as much, if not more, motivated by being mse as I am keeping my weight where I want it. I do have a rough plan of dinners as I'd hate to waste any fresh food but the freezer is also my friend so I just decide the night before what to bring out including ready meals (either HM or bought in). When I was working silly hours I've always done just one shop a week with a list to save time and I preferred to know what I was eating when I got home as it was one less thing to think about when I had a load of work to do every evening. Other than that I just buy SW friendly ingredients and decide on the day what to have for breakfast or lunch, making sure I eat up any leftovers in the fridge as well.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, scrambled eggs (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- ham (P), fried LO veg and beetroot (S)
D- chicken stir fry (P,S) with noodles (F)
Syns- honey 2.5 for stir fry sauce
