I've had the fishcakes. They're OK but won't be buying them again. Still got a couple in the freezer to use! They're not on the August menu plan!

I had the Morrison’s fish cakes a while back. They were ok but I won’t get them again…rather have home made.
So today turned out to be very stressful and I was determined to finish sorting through some things I needed to do and was running way over time so I asked dh to bring a chippy tea in. I had fish minus batter, mushy peas and about 6 chips. No other syns though.January spends - £587.581 -

I enjoyed the fishcakes for a change and always good to have something in the freezer that's easy and low syn. I usually have to make a special trip to Morrison's as it's the furthest away supermarket from home so will buy again when I'm over that way.
When I was in Sainsburys today I bought YS garlic and parsley king prawns. 1 syn for the pack and, although they can freeze, yummy to snack on. 😋1 -
Hello! Gosh this was difficult to find, but now I know…….
Not been here for a while, decided to take time out of life as I was so busy at work and was stressing out about a lot of thing, so a break from everything was in order, especially as my brother had a heart attack at Easter because of all the stress he was dealing with at work. Thankfully, he is fine, but it put life into perspective, so I quit everything I was involved in except work.
Went back to SW on 1st July, with the expected gain, but relaxed about everything. Lost 1/2 st since I went back and to my huge surprise, got slimmer of the month, especially as there are men in the group. That is something I think is unfair, if there are men in the group, because of the way their loss happens, most highest loss tends to be male, which somewhat undermines the female effort.A smile costs little but creates much1 -
Welcome back @Gettingtherequickly! Good to see you posting.
Well done on your slimmer of the month. 👏👏👏
Completely agree with you about men and SW. Not fair but you did it. 😁1 -
Welcome back GTQ and congratulations on getting SOTM. You have obviously got the right mindset to continue losing what you gained over lockdown.
Absolutely agree with you about men losing quicker and easier than women. My DH doesn't go to group but more or less follows SW at home and he loses so much easier and more than me even though he eats more than me and uses a lot of his syns on beer which I never do - I tend to stick with wine and rum!
DH is off to golf again today so won't be here for lunch - he'll be getting a meal after golf at the club. No doubt he'll still want a proper dinner this evening. I have a friend coming today and we'll be running her home so no doubt dinner tonight will be F&C!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; 2
L - toasted cheese and onion sandwich - HEB; HEA2; S
D - fish & chips? P; 6.5 (I'll take off the batter and only have 100g chips)
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - sausages 2; chips 6.5; weekend wine
Have a good day everyone.
