Many congratulations to @bubbs, @Suffolksue and @Jellybaby. 👏👏👏👏 And I'll put the flags out. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿😁

SW is great when it works. 😉 Actually I think it always works just not in the neat weekly pattern that we're led to expect.

Thanks for the news on your DH @TakeItEazy. It's been a roller-coaster for you both but good to know he's getting the right treatment at last. Pleased to see your dog is keeping an eye out for you all. 🤣

I know they tried to simplify things with EE but veggies were well catered for with the old Green plan IMO when they could have 2 x HEAs and HEBs. They still can't go far wrong on lean protein, plain carbs and loads of Speed. I don't use the meat substitutes myself but those who do swear by Quorn and the like. I was shopping for my (isolating) DGD last week and had to track down lookalike chicken slices. 🤔

We've been to a garden party today. The food was great. I made some super SW choices like salmon, prawns, steak and lots of leaves. It would have been easy to stick to plan. But I chose to have cheese and some dressed salads as well. My choice. Back on plan tomorrow. 😊

Morning all, I wish this weather would make up its mind!  We've quite a bit of sun but also some short showers.  Sky is looking blue again with a few little white clouds so hopefully sun will start shining again soon.  Spoke to soon started raining again!

It's BBQ today.  Have spent the morning prepping everything and DH has got the barbie going and one of ribs are cooking on it.  Not enough room for the one with the BBQ sauce so that's gone in the oven.  Halloumi & pepper skewers are made and can go on the BBQ when the meat is resting.  Just got salads to make.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
    L - BBQ - P; S; HEA2; F; 12
    D - jerk chicken, rice 'n' peas - P; S; 2

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - halloumi
Syns - BBQ ribs 12; sausages 2; light coconut milk 2

    Have a good day.

Hope you enjoy the barbecue and having the family round @joedenise.

Hope you enjoy your roast @bubbs. We've still had one every week despite the hot weather. Sunday wouldn't be the same without one! 😁 I had an email to say that our Company shop will be opening on 18th August although I plan to leave it until school holidays are over.

I'm using the last portions of braised red cabbage today so need to put that on my shopping list.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S)
L- ham and mushroom omelette (P,S), beetroot (S)
D- roast beef (P), SW roast potatoes (F), many veg (S)
    Syns- horseradish 1, gravy 4, weekend wine😁
