Lost 1 1/2 lb at sw this morning and won the raffle - so 50p we’ll spent as I got mushrooms, eggs, asparagus ww wraps, tomatoes and something called an Eggie which you crack your egg in to boil…..might make more washing up than it’s worth. But a good haul for 50p.
breakfast - ff yoghurt, banana, strawberries and raspberries
dinner - salad with egg and cold meat
tea - not sure yet - dh will finish the cheese and onion pie. I might have sw chips with mushrooms tomatoes and bacon and beans
snacks -  heb 2 hi fi. hea cheese and apple
    January spends - £587.58

Well done @milann and that was definitely worth 50p. We're having bacon, mushrooms and beans tonight too with toast for my son and tomatoes for me. Might do some sausages too - I have the rosemary and red onion ones.

    Afternoon all

Well done Milan, great loss 😁 and well done on winning the raffle!

We are having "fry" up tonight too and can't wait i am starving 😱

Only had a few strawberries on the go for brekkie, then a couple of slices of ham at lunch time, then when i picked dh up a pear and a banana 🙄

Yes Maman i was disappointed , think it was because of the heat last week in here we had to turn the fridge up, then it cooled down......well 30 rather than nearly 40! and it was too cold and the yoghurt froze, it looked yuk!!

Been to my favourite shop today 😂 bargains galore

Well done milann on your weight loss and on the raffle win.

I can't find my usual sweet and sour sauce recipe so going to try the SW one which uses a can of Diet Coke; didn't fancy the one which uses passata and don't really want a tomatoey sweet & sour!

All these plans for fry ups are making me green with envy and hungry too! 🤣

Well done @milann, a loss and the raffle! Result!! 👏👏👏

Do you go really early in the morning to your favourite shop @bubbs? I read somewhere that's when the best bargains are. Our new one should be open soon but I might give it a few weeks to settle down.

I've had a stressy day so have promised myself a treat tonight. The usual. 😉

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), 2 fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
    L- LO chicken casserole (P, F, S)
    D- SW Bolognese (P, S), pasta (F), HEA 2 Parmesan
    Syns - tbc

JoeDenise. You can use diet orangeade instead of coke ,I think it’s better for sweet and sour .
I also put carrot batons and sliced peppers ,just 6 tbsp of passata and a good shake of Worcestershire sauce .
    My DGD loves it

I'm sure it would be better but I don't have any at the moment - only Diet Coke or Light Ginger Beer!

I don't usually use diet drinks to make it, it's mainly stock but my recipe seems to have disappeared!  It's not in my recipe folder.  I suspect it's in the motorhome somewhere but can't be bothered to go out and find it!

@bubbs could you tell me how you make your ice cream please? I've gathered that you use yogurt...what else do you put in it? Thanks for the help.
