Haven't even been out to the bins today so front and back doors haven't been unlocked at all!! So not very interesting.
I have been chasing up private pensions though and why is it all so hard? I have three very small ones, one that I thought had disappeared, but apparently it was moved to the same company as the one I have been trying to claim, so I was told they can deal with both, I don't know if there us anything in it but I will see (I only paid into it for a very short time and was told the money had all gone in administration fees by the original co). Anyway I just have to find out some information so they can start to proceed, I thought it was going to be a simple phone call after last week, but .... and she said she may be putting a complaint in about me as she didn't like me saying I disagreed about the govt being able to take any tax!!! There won't be enough income even when added to my state pension to pay any tax!! I think she was having a rough morning or something as it was part of a conversation not a rant!! Anyway that'll be interesting.

So I felt quite drained after being on the phone so long, and when I tried to get though to the other company it just rang and rang so at that point I gave up!!! Funny enough that was the last pension that the co. I worked for was trialling as part of a govt scheme before they rolled it out for everyone. I'll try again Friday as tomorrow I will be out for most of the day, and if I have no luck I will deal with it separately.

Other stuff happening has been nil :) so I'm going to call it a day, I feel like going to bed but it's way too early for that and if I did sleep I would be waking up at silly o'clock.
    Have a good evening

Sun_Addict & WinterWarrior - she never said, perhaps to Boris :) but I've got over it now and fine with it

Today has been a bit of a disaster!! Met dgd at the hub, got some veggies and bread and back to the car and it wouldn't start!!!! Luckily my ins is with the RAC and includes breakdown but unluckily I had no phone numbers, my phone (i/t) wasn't playing ball and we had to walk back to my house, now it's not too far but all uphill!!!! I was shattered by the time we got there as it was cold and snowing!!! We stepped in the house and the sun came out whilst it snowed!!!! Anyway got through to them and they said it would probably  be a couple of hours so made a drink and sat down for someone to phone and say they would be 20mins!!!! So back out I went walked downhill (a lot quicker obviously) and he was just pulling up, diagnosed that the alternator wasn't charging the battery which was flat  followed me to the garage and had a word with them and offered to bring me back home. He was such a lovely youngish man, very polite told me what he was doing and I couldn't fault him so well done to the RAC, I will be emailing them tomorrow to tell them :)

So we didn't get to the community pantry or go and have a wander in the city, that will another day now. The car was ready this afternoon but I asked if they could keep it over night as dd1 is running me to the garage in the morning.

So that was my day, feeling really tired now, and its only 10:15pm, think it might be an early night, I seem to be going to bed earlier these days and waking up earlier as well, to be honest I prefer it until the weather is all dark and cold in winter.

Oh and that means my £10 has stayed in my purse as well, it just has to last until until Tuesday night, and what's left will go towards Easter gifts for dgc. It's my youngest dgs's birthday tomorrow, he will be 2 years old, he was born at 1.37 in the morning and I remember it well as it was full lockdown and I had to go and stay up there with dgd and I was hoping I wouldn't be stopped by police at 11pm at night :D in fact I don't think I saw anyone on the roads and I use a busy dual carriageway to her house!! Anyway I digress, one last drink and I'm off to bed.

cbsexec - i will pay it tomorrow, it will be put on the credit card so I collect some points and then paid off in full at the end of the month I won't be paying any interest, I have a car fund which it will come out of as I know I have available money. I have little pots for everything and although it doesn't leave me with a lot after I have allowed everything I know I can cover most bills that come in. It's taken me quite a while to get this far!!!!

Sorry to hear about the car Nannyg. Why does it always happen at the worst time in the snow!  At least you have money put by to cover the bill

Skint_yet_Again - I love my little pots!!! I don't necessarily like having to put the money into them as it never leaves much in the main account but it's peace of mind at the end of the day, mind you the car fund is looking a bit sick now as it needed a new alternator and battery, but up to now I haven't had to pay for anything other than ins, tax, mot and annual service so I can't complain.
