joedenise - I can't see the point of the £200 g&e loan personally unless they change their minds and make it another one off payment because the rate g&e is rising it's not going to be much help if we have to pay it back on top of an already very high bill that's going to keep going up and up!!

I quite agree. I'd rather not have it because as you say it's just an extra to be paid back but over a 5 year period which as we all know prices will just continue to rise. There should be an option not to have it or as you say give it to us as a one off payment with doesn't need repaying.nannygladys said:joedenise - I can't see the point of the £200 g&e loan personally unless they change their minds and make it another one off payment because the rate g&e is rising it's not going to be much help if we have to pay it back on top of an already very high bill that's going to keep going up and up!!

Well today I just been doing a little pootling about and knitting!! That's it really, I did get outside for a very short while to look for more pots etc but I didn't get to the shops for my missing seeds, never mind there's always tomorrow.
Not sure what's happening tomorrow, cleaning I suppose, eldest dgd isn't visiting as its her parents who have cv at the moment, dgd is still negative at present (shes nearly 18) and although sil still has it the red line on his lft is getting fainter, which I'd good. They both only have minor symptoms so that's good, more like bad headachy colds they have said. The littlies haven't got it either.
So that's it really,

My local Co-op has 3 packets for £1.20 on a stand by the door. I haven't looked closely what they areWinterWarrior said:Pootling is a good thing. Can you get seeds cheaply on line?Love living in a village in the country side3 -
WinterWarrior - I usually order over the it as it works out much cheaper, but last year I ordered loads hoping I would have enough to last two years but forgot I used all the sweetcorn ones, as I made the bed a lot bigger and grew loads!!!

in_my_wellies - I will have a look in the coop because I bought some from b&q today and there's only 25 seeds in there and I need quite a few more! The price seems to be much higher as well. Thanks for letting me know.

So changed bed and put into wm and dried it all outside. Did a bit of usual cleaning and out to get seeds and a couple of other bits.
Just watching YouTube channels about motor homes and camper vans - I can but dream but I think my time has passed now, especially as I'm rapidly going off driving
my mum had a vw camper for years and even in her 80's they would take it out for a ride!!!! Shame really one of my nieces had it for a couple of years and then sold it, my eldest would have loved to have owned it and I could just imagine her and hubbie going to festivals etc, not sure what they would have done with the kids and dog though.

Anyway that's it for today, grandma duties tomorrow so out all day but I might venture out with dgs and pup for a walk if it's fine. I'll see, life's difficult with both of them at times!
