It's good to hear your invalid is improving. It's been a big thing so I suppose it will take time to recover but the good news is there is improvement.
Great that your iPad has started up again!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Only been out to walk the pup the last couple of days so no money has been spent, so that’s a move in the right direction! I have booked eldest dgd and myself a Xmas meal out for her Xmas present so I have that to look forwards to.
Eldest dd has bought a new Xmas tree and decorated it already, well husband and children have, so I wonder how long it stays up before she gets fed up with it🤣 I did ask her and she said until Boxing Day!!!!! I don’t reckon it’ll make Xmas!!! 🤣🤣🤣
So I’m not putting my Xmas tree up this year, as dgc who usually decorate it now have a tree, but I will be decorating my mantel piece, windows etc, so it’ll only be the tree that’s missing, I’m starting to get in the Xmas mood now!
I was having a bit of a tidy up in the garden, so it’s now put to bed and I can’t wait to start again next year, as I have a few new plans for it and I now have the Lottie key so next week I’ll be starting down there, mind you it’s going to be a really big tidy up, but I’m hoping it won’t take too long as I want to do a few new things down there as well. I must remember to take my flask down with me as the water will have been turned off and I do like a cup of coffee and a sit in the shed whilst there - just to ‘ponder’ of course😂.
So that’s me for today, tomorrow I’m not sure what I’m doing yet, so it may involve a little cleaning, a little decluttering, oh starting the Xmas jigsaw and fat club later in the afternoon, needless to say I have have another rubbish week food wise, I need to get my head in the right space again it hasn’t taken much to completely derail me and I must pull my bgk’s up and get back to healthy eating!!Nannyg£1 a day 2025: £90.00/365 Xmas fund5 -

Just be aware you might have to put in passwords again if they’re saved.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
So today I spent money on some milk and bananas, total £2.65, so I’ll update my sig. I put on 1/2lb this week at fat club, must have been the hero’s and meal out😂. Ah well, this week I’ll watch what I’m eating, so more luck losing next week!😂I have started my Xmas jigsaw and it’s going to take a while I reckon. I leave it on the dining room table so any visitors can put a few pieces in place. The family all take part as my dds know it’s ‘part’ of Xmas and youngest has carried on the tradition at her house. I can’t wait to start opening my little paper advent calendar this year, I’m thinking of buying myself some Xmas coffee sachets from home b’s to have as well!Still not sure about Xmas day but I’ll be getting some extra Xmas bits in to enjoy. This coming week I’m off to the theatre, the following week dgds Xmas dinner out and some friends will be visiting as well, besides the usual bits and pieces that are happening so I’m looking forwards to the next few weeks.I’ve started knitting my jumper recently and the wrist and thumbs are holding up and I’ve also got one more Xmas card to cross stitch so I must get a move on, and only one Xmas present left to buy and I’ll probably buy a lottery ticket for each family members Xmas card, most xmas’s one or two of us win a couple of pounds!!!!! Not a big return but we live in hope 😃
You can tell I’m getting old, I had a letter through the post with ‘Pure Cremation - your choice’ blazoned all over the envelope, needless to say I haven’t opened it as I’m not planning on going anywhere for a fair few years yet 🤣🤣🤣 cheeky s*ds!!!
Anyway I’ll finish on that really note 😃

Do you go to one of your DDs for Christmas lunch? We are all going to my sister’s as she has the space for all 16 of us to sit down together for lunch. I’m really looking forward to it.3

Baron_Dale - yes, I'm going to youngest dds for Xmas dinner 🙂 this year - yay, I'll go up early so I'm there to see some present opening. I usually go soon after breakfast and stay until about 3-4pm and then come home as they go to the grandad and grannies for a family tea.£1 a day 2025: £90.00/365 Xmas fund4

Today youngest dd, baby and I went up to the city. My job was pram pushing - love it 😍 so DD could have a look around. No money was spent (by me) and DD only bought a couple of bits. Eldest Dgd was at my house and had taken pooch for a walk for me, so that saved me a job and he was walked further than I would have taken him, he wanted to go home with dd when she dropped me off but I've got him for another week until things are a calmer there and her partner is feeling a lot better, he soon settled down after a good fuss and a bit of ham😀 So cooked tea etc and now just catching up with a few bits before bed.
Tomorrow I'm going to order the small chest freezer and then we're back to the weekend and catching up on the washing and cleaning again!!!
Pasta and veggies for lunch and jacket potato and beans for tea, not that healthy but quick and easy to prepare.
