So I went to fat club and stayed the same weight, I'm finding it difficult to stay on track with having Dgd here, as I tend to buy food in for her and then I'll add a few chips to my plate and have a piece of cake etc. so I'm hoping to be healthier this week as I don't have any outside meals to go to.
I participated in the electric 'cut down' I mentioned, that was today, but in all honesty I was out of the house most of the time, I did leave the heating on by mistake (on low and gas) so I'm not sure how much difference that would make, but if I was in it would have still been on as it's been very cold here today, so it'll be interesting to see the result.
Right I'm off to bed after I've put the dog outside for a last wee!

A big problem is the standing charge.  That’s a lot every day before you start.  ☹️.  Don’t know what the solution is     I feel your pain

cbsexec - you are so right about the standing charges. I have to accept those are never going down but I've really cut down (probably too much) on g&e usage, it's been hard and cold so I've revised my use and have the heating on more now.

Another couple of days not spending anything - woohoo!! I'll have to go to the shops tomorrow though as I need milk, cheese and yogurt but I'll do a quick scan of the cupboards incase I need anything else as well, but no money will be spent on fripperies.
My freezer has been delivered and now in my box room. I'll switch it on this Friday and put some food in over the weekend and then next week I'll be ordering the fridge/freezer - again I'll be paying on my credit card and paying it off in full, so I can collect the points🤣after that I have a couple of small jobs to complete and then it's onto finishing the front room and bathroom off - thankfully I still have some money left in my canopy fund which I'm using for the carpet, blinds and flooring. I was able to save during lockdowns which helped me no end, I just have to get back into that mindset of not spending again!
Well that's it for tonight, oh I reduced my elec the other night by the % they asked for and earn't myself 39p 🤣🤣🤣 but it's better in my pocket than theirs and I wasn't in for some of the time, the next one I missed, but there was one tonight so I participated so hopefully I'll have another few pence of credit off them 🤣🤣

Baron_Dale - the heating gets a bit difficult sometimes, I realise I have to keep warm (and I do) but I like to know I have the money for it. The daytime's aren't too bad at all, it's just the night time as I don't go to bed until the early hours, but with the gvt winter payment I received today and the credit I'd accrued in the summer I should be fine, trouble is I can't stop be very frugal 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I think it's the thoughts of being in debt and that's somewhere I definitely don't want to go to again 🙁 but I'm fine really.
