Just popping back to wish you well for this morning.
Trying to get cash out is a nightmare. I needed to draw out £10 to pay the window cleaner the other day and every cash point I went to was out of order! I like to have a bit of cash on me as quite a few local independent shops/cafes prefer cash as they're charged when you use a card.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -

kayannie - thanks. I've been told we can't withdraw money from the local PO but I will investigate, because if I can that would be a good help and it would help keep that open, it's only a small one that at one time was just a PO but now it's a small food shop with a booth for the PO part, but at least we still have one. 🙂

I hope all went well with your op. Put your feet up now & plan your flower garden. KA1 -
I've had a couple of days off taking it easy but now back🙂.
The operation wasn't quite straight forwards for me, but it's all over (for the time being) and I have to take extra medication and have to visit the clinic each week until they they do the other eye. I'm fine now and the eye seems fine and I can see really well out of it so now that ones over I'm really pleased with it, but I'm not looking forwards to the other one in case it happens again. But I really happy with the results which is the main thing 🙂
I haven't been out yet, only sat in the garden! And eldest dgd and their old lady doggie are here as well. We had the sc lasagne yesterday that she made (and I froze one portion as well,) and today she's going to have a go at toad in the hole, or it may just be Yorkshire's and sausage 🤣🤣🤣 she's hoovered and hung washing out - quite the little worker.
I've not much planned for the rest of the week other than hosp. appt but will be going for short walk with dgs and doggie later, it'll only be slow and short as doggie is a very old lady, although she doesn't think it yet 🤣🤣
I watched a sewing channel yesterday and when the eyes calm down I'm going to start sewing again, not clothes but I have an unfinished quilt to put together I could start with, I'm sure if I go slow the hands will hold up, l do miss my sewing.
This is the trouble with having to take things carefully I have plenty of time to think about things I would like to do, never mind the things I've got to do like finish the decorating, raised beds etc 🤣
Anyway I'll go, obviously no money spent yet but there will be later on in the week. Youngest DD visited yesterday and bought milk and bread with her as I was running low but won't take any money.
Thanks for all the good wishes, roll on for the other eye and then it's all done - yay!

I’m glad it’s done and sounds like it will be worth it in the end despite not being straightforward. Also glad your family are looking after you well. You deserve it as you are very good to them ☺️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
