I know I'm a bit haphazard at posting at the moment but things have been happening so fast. Im having my first eye done on Thursday this week so I've been trying to organise everything as well as doing extra dog and dgd stays. Anyway just about done it all cleaning, extra shopping, preparing and freezing a few meals and trying to make some sort of meal plan for the next week or two.
The garden is still producing veggies so I've been eating and freezing and DD and sil have been to the Lottie to pick some veggies, it's quite close to them. I haven't managed it yet but perhaps I will when I'm back to more normality.
Money wise, it's just chugging along, spent more on food but that's for the next couple of weeks so I'm hoping it'll even itself out a bit. I still haven't quite finished front room or bathroom but they'll be done after the ops as well as or even after winter🙁 but as everything looks neat and tidy I can live with it for a while! Also it's costing a bit more than I thought namely paint and all the other bits that go with it, but hey ho it'll all get done.
I'm going to see if I can cut back more so I can have the 'bits' I want instead of making do with the cheapest, it'll make me happy not having to make do just this once😊
So the timer has just gone off so my lunch should be ready. Speak to you all later

Good luck for Thursday. Hope your experience is as good as mine has been - it's great being able to see properly again without needing glasses on that eye.2
