Sorry to hear you're having a bad day, pigpen. Just you, or all the family?

Personally I am fine.. but I am having to deal with everyone elses issues.. Mimi had to be taken to hospital with a seconod degree burn, MIL's surgery went well thankfully but SIL is off her crump and Boog bought a new laptop which came in the form of 3 items of ladies gymgear and the seller has been horrific.. Boog has ASD, Aspergers and social anxiety so is in complete meltdown. We got informed of the new school classes.. Dot is in meltdown.. paddling pool put up to calm her down.. I've taken over boogs ebay situation and we collected Mimi and did hospital and she has to go back on Tuesday. OH can deal with his sister.. she rang last night hysterical about what we were going to tell the girls.. I was just on my way upstairs to talk to them.. Dot said she can have a wooden leg and an eye patch (I may need to borrow Dusty Parrot!) and Twinkle said she will teach granny to hop! On top of everything else it is madness in here.

Pigpen – Sorry to hear that you have had a bad day. Hope your family is all ok and that you manage to get the ebay problem sorted.
Well, that is all that I am going to do today but I have more than half of my list completed. I am going to relax and enjoy what is left of my day off. I have an early start tomorrow so going to post my list now for Sunday, which will pretty much be aiming to finish the list from today.
My list for Sunday:
- Do paid stuff - DONE
- Open the windows and let some air
in. -DONE
- Write half of the report for a
freelance client - DONE
- Finishing ironing pile - DONE
- Make a start on ordering the back-to-school
clothes
- Ask DH to call Mr H regarding the paint that I need for the car. - DONE
- Tidy and put away/bin the pile
that is forming on the bedside table
- Tidy and put away the pile off the floor at the side of the bed (this pile is a bad habit that I need to stop)
- Change the beds and wash the
bedding
- Print receipts/paperwork and update
accounts
Think that is everything that I need to tackle. Hope everyone has a good Sunday.

Pigpen... sending you coping vibes also not killing the twonks who are causing the !!!!!! vibes.
I may now be wfh for the next week... waiting for confirmation.
borrowed NDN's pressure washer. Had completely forgotten my patio was THAT colour, it has never been washed. It was probably laid around the time I joined MSE. Tomorrow I need to sweep round the side of the house.
not only did I borrow their pressure washer they also hooked me up to their water as they aren't on a meter and I am. It took 3 hours.
prior to that I strimmed, mowed and went to beeandqueue for strimmer cord and a new yard brush.

Morning xx
I hope everyone is drinking plenty of water. If you can put a shallow dish of water out for the local wildlife that would be good too.
I've made my bed and I'll feed the birds and put out the rubbish once I'm dressed. Apart from sorting out Sweetie that will probably be it for today - got to watch the last day of TdF and the British Grand Prix. That's not negotiable.
I hope everyone is OK. Where's Jazee? Love to all as always - you're amazing, never forget that. ❤

Morning all
Well done on the activity in the heat yesterday ladies. Pigpen hope today is better for you.
I was a bit anxious/wobbly/grumpy yesterday afternoon after a lovely bike ride with my ladies group. Twas just so hot and I had stuff to do. DS1 turned up and we had a BBQ so the day ended well.
Anyway, I am up, showered, breakfasted and waiting for the grocery shopping which is coming between 9 and 10. My brother is coming to stay need weekend so I need to get rid of the clutter that DS2 left in his bedroom after his move between Uni houses. I have discovered that there is a massive spider in DSs cupboard which is preventing me from putting anything in there. DH and DS are fishing so its down to me to deal with the spider or nothing is going to be achieved.
I may need more coffee before I deal with the spider, DS has left a bag full of bags for life/online shopping bags/padded envelopes. He throws nothing away. I will sort those next.9 -
After yesterday's marathon pressure wash I need to sweep up dislodged moss and grime. Then I need to wash some windows and frames.
I strongly suspect my Mon-Wed bubble will have burst - we are waiting on a PCR result to confirm a +ve lateral flow test. So I will be wfh.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Full on respect to all of you who are doing things. Anything at all is way more than me. 2 loads through the wm - doesn’t really require a lot of energy. Obviously my lethargy has nothing to do with the bottle of wine consumed last night at the NDN’s. The decorating is frustratingly on hold. The small bedroom gets the morning sun, and it doesn’t seem very clever to have the paint drying as soon as it hits the wall.
I have a bottle of water, a book and a cushion on the bench in the shade.
I hope today gets better for you, Pigpen.

MIL doing ok after her op.. still mighty out of it though.
We are following the process with the ebay issue for Boog.. slow process that it is.
Meem is ok I think..
Dot is ok with school today, I have emaied and asked if she can be moved to the other teacher and will be bobbling into school tomorrow.. it is her best interests and if she is not happy the whol eyear will be a battle and she struggles enough already.
OH is off work all week.. apart from Friday which is the last day and when they will be bringing their bags of detritus home.. and we won't be in the car.. joy...
I have sold 6 items today.... if ebeast isn't doing so good.. have a try on Vinted.. It is slow but it seems to have suddenly taken off a bit.. the more people using it the better it is.. and there are no fees.. much better than the 30% ebeast take!!

Pigpen I’m glad MiL is doing ok. Hope SiL has calmed down.
We have been out for lunch as it is Mr DM’s birthday tomorrow and he is working.Spoken to DS2 and he was ok but a little quiet.
Has anyone seen Honey Bear? I may have missed her posts.
We have popped to DG’s to borrow her fan as it is 30 degrees here. Today is 6 months since she died.
