Evening Folks x
Early start today, dropped DH off at work so I could have the car today. After shredding some paperwork, I moved on to DG’s to take photos of large machinery and locos taken. Items gathered ready for buyer collecting on Friday. Bird poo window cleaned. Tried to source some cardboard boxes. Mr S is saving me some to collect tomorrow. My friend was more successful so I have enough for now.
We are going to get a builder around there to see how much the most urgent work would cost. Then I suppose get a survey done and then get financial advice to see how much we can afford. I best ask for those fabulous Flylady getting job from Thursday’s interview vibes, pretty please.
Picked DH up from work.
My full charity bag has not been collected so I’ve had to bring it back in.
Ground floor vacuumed
Valli hope you are OK, DS1’s test came back negative so it must have been a normal chest infection x
Mmm good luck with the job hunt, it is so complicated jumping through hoops these days. X9 -
Get well wishes Valli.
Went swimming.
Went to Ald1.
Did a load of gardening, which has to be today's flying really - feeding/deadheading basket and pot plants; staking up over-enthusiastic eryngium which had been flattened by yesterday's storm; weeding etc.
Did some drum practice.
Did various bits of admin.
Wrote summary for last Friday's lesson, planned this week's.
Started researching our few days away.
Good vibes heading your way Dancemum.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Good morning!
I am in (better late than never!!) Thank you ladies for the lists. Valli I hope your test comes back negative & that you are feeling ok.
We got back Friday. DH has done very little since then, which is so frustrating! I really feel like I have wasted a week off. I could have done so much here, and I don't feel relaxed. I can't afford to take another week off because I am self employed. Is it bad that I am craving a day or two to myself?
Bedroom windows have been repaired (blown units). Windows were cleaned, and bedroom (including empty bay) vac'd. Kitchen & hall floor cleaned (on hands and knees), stairs and landing vac'd, LR vac'd - and that was Monday! Meanwhile DS & DH were faffing with podcast stuff which is beginning to really pee me off tbh!! Nothing else gets done! Yesterday was paid stuff. I emptied DW, WULTD, wiped kitchen surfaces, WMx1 hung out then FUPA. Dog walked. I had a mad HH in the garden after holby and chopped down lots of the grape vine! It has gone mad, and flopped all over the border after the rain. I was getting bitten, so retreated indoors. It is still over the grass, so I will have to sort that today. I need to order a new compost bin because I have filled mine & I don't want to send it to landfill. We went to Hampton Court flower show on Sunday so I have lots of flowers to plant! 😁
Paid stuff today. I might go out, but with 2 under 2's it can get tricky with nap times.
Have a good day everyone. Hugs to those that need them, and healing vibes to those that are poorly. Plenty of sticks & spoons available - help yourself!!

Morning all
We spent what felt like most of yesterday at the horse piddle, for DH's pre-op assessment. He is now waiting for a letter from the consultant's secretary, within the month - hopefully giving him a date for his op.
Today it's my turn - I have to go for a CT angiogram. But I have already
- stripped the bottom sheet and pillowcases and re-made my bed
- done WMx1
- stripped all the bedding off DH's bed
- hoovered round downstairs
- S&S'd the kitchen and bathroom
That is likely to be the sum total of flying today!
(((Hugs))) spoons, sticks and good interview vibes to all in need xx8 -
Morning all,
Another one creeping in late! I have done absolutely nothing these past couple of days, I have just been too wiped out with my medication. Playing catch up today - two loads of washing are drying on the line, the WM is on a hot wash, bed stripped, toilets bleached and hob cleaned. I have also delivered x3 egg deliveries.
My brain isn't absorbing much info at the moment, so I will send you all love and hugs xx9 -
Went for a drive to the nature reserve with the kiddies. It was stressful! All 3 fell asleep on the way home, I had to park up the road & only had one buggy! 🤦♀️ The 4 yr old woke up (he is far to big to carry!), 21 mth old in the buggy & carried the 16 mth old. They slept for another hour or so, and are just finishing their lunch now.
Grumpy dog has a poorly tummy again 😥 He was whinging so I put him in the garden. He is now sleeping out there and can stay there until DH gets in. He has shade, water & a blanket to lay on.
I have ordered myself a new hot composting bin, at a discounted price through the council - very MSE! I am happy with that!
ASB I hope the medication settles down for you x
