I hung out some washing, put both machines on, put undies in the dryer and even went crazy and pulled up some weeds...
I just have no energy to do anything.. and now I have to get the girls, do dinner and pack ups, load the DW and get the terrors into bed.. I just want to go to bed myself.. I have no idea why I am so lacking in spoons.. I had a shower yesterday and needed a nap!

Hi all
A better day today. Work still not fantastic but WFH today which made it more bearable. I have washed the bathmat and got that dry. Found some Christmas Day nut roast in the freezer so have finished that off for tea with some mash and veg, DH will have lamb chops when he gets in. I went for a little jog first thing, made me feel a lot better.
Round I was doing really well at not wasting time on social media, but have slipped back into it since my holidays.
Feet up now for a bit. Only 4 hours to do at the paid stuff tomorrow, so will get some flying done tomorrow afternoon.9 -
Flying this week consists mainly of harvesting fruit and pulling up weeds, pruning lots of plants which seem to be in training for a certain pantomime involving Jack.......and talking of which, broad beans should be ready soon; French and runners are doing ok. Not doing ok are carrots which were great last year, beetroots and a couple of other things I've sown and as nothing has shown, can't even recall what they are. Weeded around squash plants today. Gave greenhouse a good soak and spray - I've mainly watered using a can and the water butts, but felt the hose might be a good plan today.
Still trying to keep up the running as it's less than 2 weeks till ParkRun is back. I'm never going to get faster if I don't do proper interval training, but as I can't be ***ed I will continue to be slowly jogging and enjoying the nature. Yesterday was 7km and at least had a bit of a hill.
DW and WM keeping up with everything.
Went to GP this morning, waited in queue of people - one lady spent ages seemingly arguing at the pharmacy bit; came out saying various words including the F word while she stomped across the car park - really there's no need for that, poor pharmacist. Anyway the receptionist had no trouble re-spelling my name in the records correctly without fuss; when I got home I immediately viewed by Covid certificate in the app so that's a job done.
Went to drum lesson. Back through Mr T as usual, got a few reduced items.
Lesson ready for tomorrow's workplace support planned; we're meeting every fortnight in C0sta now as her office isn't open properly, and alternate weeks on Z00m.
Mr N is getting to know his new camera and got a great photo of the kite in the tree at the end of our garden.
Filled bird feeders.
Yes I'm another who needs to cut down on screen time, mainly jigsaw puzzles on the tablet plus solitaire!
Hope all interviews/doctor visits/pet illness go well.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Good morning, hope everyone is doing ok. Shout up if you aren’t.Today the train man is coming to DG’s.
So far I have taken DH to work, tidied my living room and vacuumed the ground floor.. I have done a bin bag dance as our red bin wasn’t full and it is collection day. Mr squirrel knocked to tell me that the bird feeders were empty so I have attended to those. Now it’s a quick bath, clean bathroom and then photocopy probate forms and drop them off on my way to dancegran’s. Back later x8 -
Morning All
Woke up to an email saying school is shut for the rest of term as a member of staff has tested positive - they won't say which member of staff (understandably), and as it is such a small village school that person could be a close contact of all the kids.
Children gutted, understandably. As I am I, but we are just joining the swathes of young people who are missing out on their last week of term. I am pleased I got plenty of food in yesterday!
Flying wise, WM has done it's thing, everywhere looks vaguely okay but that will soon change no doubt! Happy Friday all x10 -

At the risk of pointing out the obvious - it's blimmin warm!
Lunch has been cooked and eaten, DW chugging away now. The children had a water fight in the garden before lunch, they are now watching TV as it's just so hot out there (south facing sun trap). I might declutter a nap.9 -

OH mincing grass.
I have sent a form into school, sorted 2 to return to the consultant, sorted Squeaks music lessns for September, pruned some shrubs in the garden.. I am utterly ruthless with the secateurs.. hung out washing, put both WM's on ( hanging that out is my next job) and loaded the DW for its' first run.. I need to put the clean cutlery away and refill the basket for the DW too. Put a cheque in bank.. yelled at Boog who is being a kn0b.. justified in being pithed but not an excuse to shout at me when I am trying to help.. and wearing CF face is NOT endearing nor conducive to life.I was going to do some tidying in my room but not managed that either.SIL on the phone every 5 minutes.. MIL is having the lower half of her leg amputated today so SIL is hysterical and having no other family who will get it she is nagging OH.. which is fine of course but I have to keep guiding him to not be mean to her.. she over-reacts to everything and makes mountains out of a grain of sand and he just shuts off and appears utterly uninterested.. I am in a great position.. not!!
