That's idiotic.. I'd just take him with you to drop off the other.. I had to take Twinkle to collect the other 3 a few times.. and she went back and I had another home I took them too. My daughter kept her oldest off when the younger ones class was closed.. Unless you can arrange with another parent to alternate pick ups/drop offs it isn't doable.. it is a totally stupid carry on.
OH taken Twinkle for her new glasses.
many emails sent.

Hi all
Not a bad day here, did some paid stuff, went for a bit of a walk, did a bit of hoovering until I realised it was too hot. Found a salmon fillet in the freezer so concocted some salmon and broccoli pasta. Sat outside with my book until I started feeling sleepy. 2 loads of washing dried and folded ready for putting away.
Decluttering some Christmas gin now.
ASB its all a bit crazy, I suspect it's going to get worse before it gets better x

Evening all.
I've basically had a week off Flying - a terrible thing to admit, I know, but the house is reasonably tidy and I've kept the kitchen clean by hardly using it! Yesterday I spent most of the day with my little godchildren and their mum, and today DH, Rosie and I have been out to the forest where it was cool and quiet. I am not planning on doing much tomorrow, either, apart from watering the patio pots in the evening.
Hope everyone has a good weekend x9 -

Did 2 loads of washing yesterday inc duvet cover. But I haven't put it back on my bed - way too hot. Just 2 workdays left for me but I ended up in on Thursday anyway.
And I had 2 showers yesterday.
Curtains on the front will stay closed today. Will help it stay a little cooler.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Not really too sure where time has goneSo hugs / sticks all round.OH and I have just been watching 45 or so surfers we just happened to find in the sea on our walk. OH is walking so slowly for him but at least he is walking, he will fall to sleep now for a couple of hours.I'm going to sort out my new wild flower area, having spread the soil a few weeks ago, I have leveled it and sown seeds, however the local cat seem to think it is a giant kitty litter tray!! so that needs to be dealt with, then I am going to get the hose on it.I've hooveredWM gone out of lineDeer have been by, one of them was within 2 feet of me, the was the link fence between us, so I have a feeling I may be able to stoke them soon.Other general cleaning and sorting done, but no a lot.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Melting…
DD’s bed stripped including mattress cover. Washed and dried outside.
Went to the allotment with DH this morning to survey the weeds. I can confirm that they are doing well, nothing growing that will actually feed us.
DH is now mowing the grass. He is officially mad.
We are out to the NNDNs this early evening for a drink. That might be as much as I can manage for the rest of the day.Hugs to all xx7 -
